And when it comes to Arbonne products, there are people who claimed to have gotten sick while taking these supplements.
So in this Arbonne review, I will reveal the crucial things most people wish they knew first before they invest money in Arbonne products and its business opportunity.
Let’s get started.
What is Arbonne?
Arbonne, aka Arbonne International, LLC, is a multi-level marketing company founded by Petter Mørck in 1980.
The company was established in the US, but it has its roots in Switzerland. In fact, Arbonne is named after a village in Switzerland, Arbon.
But the idea of coming up with skincare products that are unparalleled in quality and effectiveness was already developed by Petter Mørck together with a group of biochemists, biologists, and herbalists as early as 1975.
The most popular of all Arbonne products are the skincare regiment called RE9.
Arbonne also has products for bath and body, hair, makeup, nutrition, and weight loss.

Arbonne personal care products are formulated without the known harmful substances in cosmetics such as:
- PEGs, and
Furthermore, Arbonne claims that its nutrition products are formulated without artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, and animal products (or by-products).

And if you tried Arbonne products and you’ve had a pleasant experience with them, its only natural that you would want to join this business.
So let’s discuss how you can make money with Arbonne and how much can you actually earn.
Arbonne Compensation Plan
Arbonne is an MLM company, so just like how other MLM companies operates; you can make money with this company by selling and recruitment.
Arbonne Compensation And Success Plan
There are four different ways to earn money with Arbonne.
As an Arbonne Independent Consultant, you can earn between 15% to 35% on all product sales you make. This commission is paid weekly.
This commission is paid monthly. With the Arbonne Override Commissions, you can earn a percentage of the total product sales of your team.
Mercedes Benz Cash Program
Qualified independent consultants can get a white Mercedez Benz paid by the company.
Arbonne Cash Bonus Programs
There are different ranks that you can achieve in Arbonne base on your sales performance.
By unlocking each position and meeting the requirements, you can earn cash bonuses of $100 – $600.
You unlock higher rank positions by recruiting people and building a sales team that will help you sell Arbonne products much faster.
Does Arbonne Pay You To Recruit People
Arbonne technically does not pay independent consultants for recruiting people to join the company.
However, if you wish to make a living with Arbonne, recruiting people is a must.
This is because you will only earn commissions whenever your direct sponsors and their referrals make sales on Arbonne products.
The bigger your sales team is, the better your earnings!

Do Arbonne Independent Consultants Make Good Money
Truth be told, they don’t.
Now this is a touchy subject, and I know many Arbonne affiliates might get mad at me, but I am merely stating a fact.
Base on the 2018 income disclosure provided by the company, roughly 97% of Arbonne independent consultants, are not making a decent income.
Now, this does not mean that Arbonne is a scam, per se. It has something to do with how MLM businesses are designed.
So in the next section of this Arbonne review, I will discuss the reasons why most people don’t make a stable income with this type of business.
97% Of Arbonne Independent Consultants Don’t Make Money – WHY?
I have been with different MLM companies before and below are the common reasons I see why most people fail in this industry.
#1 Lack of Leads
The very first challenge you have to overcome if you wish to make a lot of money with Arbonne is how to get a steady source of leads and prospects.
Let’s say that Arbonne products are excellent; that the business opportunity is promising.
Unfortunately, these things won’t matter if you won’t have anyone to sell the products to or promote your business.
I know you probably have a list of 100-200 people right now – people who are likely to buy Arbonne products or would be interested in the business.
But what happens when you’ve exhausted that list?
- Are you willing to talk to strangers?
- Would you spam link on your social media accounts? Cold calls maybe?
- Will you be handing out brochures and flyers in malls?
Unless you learn how to get an unlimited source of leads for your Arbonne business, you won’t make a lot of money.
#2 Targeting The Wrong People
And speaking of prospects, not everyone would want to buy your products or would be interested in the Arbonne business.
You have to learn to identify the right people for your business, or you would spend a lot of time and effort on the wrong ones.
You have to learn to identify your niche and therefore, having a clear idea of who should you focus your attention on.
Your friends and family are less likely the people you would want to sell your products to or invite to join your team. Here’s why.
#3 Lack of Skills
To make a stable income with Arbonne, you’ll have to be a good salesperson. You’ll have to be capable of approaching people and recruiting them to the company.
These are the essential skills you’ll need to possess to be a good and effective network marketer.
Unfortunately, many people who join Arbonne don’t have these skills and are complete beginners.
Worse, most of them are not willing to put in the work needed to learn these skills because they are made to believe that they can make quick and easy money joining Arbonne.
And when they fail to make money, they will think that Arbonne is a scam.
This brings us to the next reason why many independent distributors don’t succeed in MLM business like Arbonne.
#4 Wrong Mindset
If you are eager to join Arbonne because you believe (or made to think) that this is where you can make quick and easy money, then you are mistaken.
Just like any other business, making a stable income as an Arbonne independent consultant requires dedication, hard work, skills, and time.
No matter how your sponsor sugarcoats it, there is no shortcut to success in MLM.
#5 Poor Support And Guidance
Another reason why many people quit their MLM companies only after a few months is because they are left hanging by their sponsors.
I am not saying that all sponsors are like this, but it is not a surprise anymore. Since different MLM compensation plans heavily favor entrepreneurs who can build a bigger sales team…
Distributors, as a result, will focus on convincing more people to join a company like Arbonne than taking care of their existing members.
Before you join Arbonne, notice how your sponsor takes care of his/her team. Does that person set a time to mentor and guide his/her team?
Is Arbonne A Scam
Even though the majority of Arbonne independent consultants don’t make money, for me, Arbonne is not a scam.
This company has been around since 1980 and has a good line of products. Arbonne also has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
In my opinion, having reviewed hundreds of business opportunities, Arbonne is less likely a pyramid scheme because members are not getting compensated whenever they recruit people but on the product sales made by their recruits.
Hence, selling products is the focus of the company. But I know you may have a different opinion so let me hear your thoughts.
Is Arbonne a scam for you? Why or why not?
Should You Join Arbonne
Did you have any good experience with Arbonne products? If not, then there is no reason for you to join this company.
You will basically become a salesperson and how can you sell products that you don’t even like.
Besides, are you comfortable selling and talking to other people? Do you see yourself doing those things in the long run?
