Bocannaco is an MLM company that claims to have “the best hemp oil” in the world. So I decided to take a look at the company’s official website, and I was somewhat disappointed.
About The Company
The website appears decent in design, but there is a minimal amount of information. I had to conduct a rather extensive research to get more details about the company.
First I decided to do a domain check on the website, and I found out that it was created in October of 2017 and was last updated in October of 2018.

Founders
Now I want to know the people behind this company and what are their credentials. So I decided to dig deeper.
It took me a while to gather more information because there is really no information about this company since it is relatively new.
However, I did come up with a name, John Daniels as the company’s “original” founder.
Another name also worth mentioning is Bocannaco’s product developer, a retired surgeon, and neurologist Robert Lawrence.
Other names I come up with are Mike and Barbara Lammons who appears to be “founding partners” in Bocannaco.
I cannot say for sure if Dr. Lawrence is also a founding partner of the company at the moment but when more information surfaces, I will be updating this Bocannaco review for you.
Bocannaco Products
As you might already know, Bocannaco offers its consumers a range of hemp oil products.
In a video presentation below, the company went into details explaining why their products are “the best” in the hemp oil and CBD industry.

Bocannaco Business Opportunity
As to how a typical MLM company works, Bocannaco offers its distributors a way to earn money in two ways, selling products and recruitment.
Again, there is not much available information about Bocannaco on the Internet yet, so as far as how much you can earn with this company.
But apparently, you can earn 15% as profits every time you sell the products of the company.
Every time you recruit someone and they become a distributor for Bocannaco too, you will earn additional commissions when they buy a product – whether for personal consumption or retailing purposes.
You will also earn a certain percentage for all the products sales on your team as a residual bonus.

How To Become a Bocannaco Distributor?
To become a distributor for Bocannaco, you only need to pay $99 to get started. This will give you access to a suite of business tools, but it does not give you any product to sell.

My Personal Favorites about Bocannaco
Bocannaco may be a new kid in the CBD industry, but there are a few things that I love about it.
#1 High-Quality Products
I haven’t actually tried any of the Bocannaco’s products but base on the information they provided, I must say that I am a little impressed.
The way they grow their own hemp plants using cultivar and splicing to re-create an exact the same product over and over again is a brilliant idea.
There is also the process of chromatography, an innovative way to extract cannabidiol (CBD) from hemp without using heat.
#2 Laboratory Tested Products
Bocannaco pride’s itself as the only company that provides you with a breakdown from “two independent laboratory tests” so you can see exactly what you’re getting from the products that you purchase.
#3 Affordable Hemp Oil Products??
All of Bocannaco’s products are priced at $99 base on the company video but depending on when you will read this Bocannaco review, you might have to verify the price on the company website.
Bocannaco claims that this is the cheapest price you can get for a hemp oil product of its quality.
However, there is really no way to tell if this is indeed the best hemp oil in the world, thus the question mark.
#4 A 30-Day Refund Policy
If ever you decided to purchase a product from Bocannaco but decided to change your mind, you will be given a chance to return your purchase within 30 days.

My Concerns about Bocannaco
On this part of my Bocannaco review, allow me to share with you my concerns about this company.
#1 New MLM Company
As the new kid in the block, there is not much to say about Bocannaco. There are no top-earners yet to prove that the company’s compensation plan works. Heck, there isn’t even proof that this company will make it on its first three years.
There is a tough competition in the MLM industry and in Bocannaco’s case, there are hundreds of other companies that offer the same product line.
Companies such as Kannaway, Hempworks, and Hemp Herbals are established names in the CBD industry, and there is no telling if Bocannaco will reach such heights – for now.
The scary part about joining a new MLM company is that you might be investing your time and money on an idea that might not work. I am not saying that Bocannaco will fail, I’m just saying, it might.
I repeat, for now, only time can tell.
#2 Tons of Missing Information
This might not be an issue for some people (including you), but I genuinely feel that is is a company’s responsibility to be transparent to the public.
This is true especially for companies who are not only selling products but also offers a business opportunity.
Bocannaco will do its consumers and potential distributors a great favor if it discloses vital pieces of information about the company on their website.
For example, an “ABOUT US” section would be helpful. That way, people would be familiar with the personalities behind the company and other whereabouts.
#3 Compensation Plan??
For a company that offers a business opportunity, Bocannaco fails to disclose any details about the company’s compensation plan on its website.

Other than the video that I have provided on this Bocannaco review, I cannot find any other reliable sources that could provide more pieces of information about this topic.
A “Bocannaco Compensation Plan” section would be excellent.
#4 MLM Business Model – Very High Failure Rate
Across the entire industry, the consensus is that more than 95% of all people who joins in any MLM company fails.
Unfortunately, this is not a made up number to scare you.
This is one of the reasons why many people are calling any MLM business a pyramid scheme because a vast majority of people end up not making any money on their respective companies.

Is Bocannaco a Scam?
Although the company is new and there are some concerns about its operation, I wouldn’t say that Bocannaco is a scam.
As an MLM company, Bocannaco provided a decent product line, so the risk of it being a pyramid scheme is less likely.
Is Bocannaco For You?
That depends. The only one who can answer this question is you.
First is the products.
Before you join and become a distributor for Bocannaco (or any other MLM company), make sure that you have a pleasant experience with its products. Because how will you be able to sell something that you haven’t tried yet?
Are Bocannaco’s hemp products as effective as the company claims it to be?
Second, the business model.
Are you interested in joining Bocannaco because it is your passion to sell products and build a team of people helping each other to reach a common goal, or you simply want to make money?
Now tread lightly because one of these reasons will undoubtedly cause your failure. For now, ask yourself this…

My Humble Advice To You
There are many companies (both MLM and not) that are promoting hemp oil and CBD products today.
If you are keen on starting an MLM business with Bocannaco, I highly advise that you learn the art of selling and recruitment.
You must learn the skills on how to present your products and business in a way that people will be the one coming at you, eager to buy your products or join your business.
On the other hand, if you think that the MLM industry is not for you, no need to worry.
Plenty of other legit online business opportunities today could provide you a substantial passive income even at home.
For instance, you can take a look at Affiliate Marketing, eCommerce and Online Trading. Many people are already making a 6-figure monthly income or more with these business opportunities!
But make no mistake, earning that much money is not as easy as 123. There is no such thing as a Get-Rich-Quick scheme.
To succeed in any business, it will require knowledge, skills, determination, patience and time.
But the most important thing of all that you must consider before dipping your toe on any business is to make sure that you are doing something you are genuinely passionate about.

I started using the oil in early June of this year. It took 4 weeks before I got results that far exceeded my expectations! I’d been going to a Pain Clinic for 6 years for Degenerative Disc Disease and thus on opioids for than many years. I’d also been on antidepressants for over 13 years! I’m now off opioids and antidepressants! I’ve noticed other benefits regarding digestion (I no longer have to take a Pepcid 2 or 3 times a week) and elimination (very regular bowel movements!) My anxiety is now under control and I even flew on a plane the end of September, without taking any anxiety medication! And I love the lemony taste! Now, for the bad news. They have not responded to numerous emails and voice mails that I have left in the last few weeks and I’ve heard from the woman that got me to sign up as a distributor, that she got information from the woman who got her started that they have gone out of business. Their store on their website no longer offers the opportunity to purchase products, as of Mid November 2019. They “say” it is temporary and due to shipping problems (Fed Ex won’t deliver for them anymore ⁉️) Based on my own personal results (and I did quit taking the product for about 2 months to see what effect that had and the results I was getting had 5 weeks of residual effects ! ) Because my results were life changing, I did sign up as a distributor,. My main reason was to be able to give personal testimonials of my own results and I’ve been in sales of some sort all my adult life. This was the 1st MLM I’ve ever joined. I’m personally devastated that they are apparently out of business! I am very actively trying to find a good/perfect replacement! So far, I’ve only tried one other company and I do now awaken in pain every morning BUT, within a few hours of taking my new oil (Hemp bombs) I’m pain free. Getting ready to fly to Charlotte for NY’s eve so I’ll be able to test the anxiety levels out soon. I’m leaning on trying Pure Kana next…. I feel like a “junkie chafing that 1st High”; it’s just that my results were so life changing !
I was a Bocannaco distributor for about a year and it was a good product in the beginning and I was my biggest customer. I never expected to make money in an mlm it was about the product. They changed the formulation and started calling it “active driven turpenes” That’s when I pulled out… Thier storefront is closed now. It turns out the formulation was not created by Dr Lawrence but from a third party. I’m not sure the real story will ever surface but I know there are lots of distributors owed money. I do believe in the benefits of CBD but the CBD business is the wild west right now.

I said they were out of business because their online store closed, and no one is responding to emails or correspondence.
Also, not one of my 17 clients found short or long-term relief. I found clients who had the income, dedication, and need for CBD relief. Many went a year or better, using the products religiously…..and 15 of the 17, said Bocannaco is nothing more than mineral oil or something similar. These individuals live in Humboldt, Mendocino, and San Francisco, and are very open-minded. They really, really wanted Bocannaco to work, even a little. Their search continues.

I am a consumer of Bocannaco and distributor.
I think you did a good job with the information you had available to you and you were pretty fair. I do wonder why you gave the product a 3.5 when you stated you never tried any of the products. That’s my only complaint. The 1000mg oil has a lemon taste and if people were looking at the whopping 3 ingredients they would see lemon oil, so if you don’t like lemon this isn’t the oil for you.
It would be silly for anyone selling CBD to say what it will do for you, it’s really more discovering what it might do for your body. I hope that no one is saying it’s a magic solution, I believe that Megan was hoping Bocannaco would be her magic solution and when it wasn’t it came across as if it was the products fault. Not having a response to Bocannaco products doesn’t mean they aren’t the quality product we claim, it just means it didn’t work for you.
It took over two weeks for me to notice the positive change I was having and now after 10 months that list is so much longer. Could I have had these positive changes with another CBD, perhaps, yet I know I’m taking a CBD that has zero THC, no chemicals or heat used for extraction, and tiny particles for easy absorption, and I get 15% back on all my purchases. So, in comparison to CBD oils in the local health food store, I’m paying much less for Bocannaco CBD (before I even get my 15% back), nothing weird is added, and the owners/founders really care about providing a top of the line product.

Someone tried to recruit me into the company but when I did further research into the company I could not find any information on Dr. Robert Lawrence except on the Bocannaco facebook page. It has his profile and having all these degrees but when you look it up online I could not find anything relating to the so call doctor. There are so many people jumping into the CBD space now and half the stuff out there is junk and hardly has any CBD in it. I see that they have no THC but when you look at the CBD Wheel that is out there it tells you in certain conditions that you may have you need not only CBD but the THC so the brands that have 0.3% THC seem to know what they are doing. It comes down to preference. I prefer a CBD Fluid over a CBD Oil but that is my own personal opinion. Thank you for the review. Continue to do an excellent job reviewing companies.

I have the CBD oil and the other products and love them so much I became a distributor. This is the easiest company I have ever partnered with. Megan Grice is misinformed and totally wrong about the “multiple carrier oils”. There are ZERO “carrier oils” in any of our products. We use Grapeseed Oil as a stabilizer and is partially responsible for our oil to last in full potency for a long time. Our product is “alive” and we want to keep it that way!
There are no “carrier oils” as cbd does not need that.
Taste: to each its own. Ours has no “pot” taste to it. I also tried Hempworx and though they try to cover the pot taste with Peppermint oil (not bad), I could still taste the pot. They are .3% THC. We are Zero THC.
Our website is very simple at this time because a) we’re not even a year old yet b) we have proprietary information and c) FDA is in the process of setting up massive regulations and we’re keeping our site simple. BTW, all our products now have product details/ingredients listed – complete transparency.
Lab Reports: Scroll to the bottom of our site, click “Lot information” and you will see two independent lab tests.
We are the ONLY company that tests for 71 pesticides, 22 residual solvents, 4 heavy metals, and 7 tests for microbiology. In addition, we test for Terpenes (the fragrant part of the plant and necessary for higher effectiveness of the CBD oil) and have between 40-90 mg (reason such a difference is depends on what time of year the batch was grown). NO ONE – not any other company – has shown to have this much and been this transparent! Nobody comes even close. I review other sites just to make sure! That’s how it’s proven Jay.

#1 I highlighted at the beginning of the Bocannaco review that while I was writing this a few months ago, nothing much is known about the company. I assume the product details are recently added so I will make sure to include that in my update.

#3 About the compensation plan, nowhere in my entire review did I mentioned that you have a Binary and I have no way of knowing that because it is not on your website. I think it would help other people to get a better understanding of how your business works when you are transparent about that too. I am sure many people would love to see that 1-page comp plan that you are talking about.
Oh, and people would usually love to see the owners of the company on the webpage.
#4 I am not biased with the review. If I am, I wouldn’t have made an effort to present the good sides of your company. I merely present the good and the bad side of the company. Im sorry if you prefer it to be all good – now that would be biased.
#5 If you read the entire review, I present people with different alternative business opportunities just in case they realized joining an MLM is not for them. To follow their passion. But nowhere did I discouraged them to join your company. How is that biased?
I humbly suggest that you read the review again but this time, in a perspective of a normal person trying to search for business opportunity and not as a distributor. Then you will see my point.

I’ve used their products hoping they’d work better than mine. (I use and sell HempWorx) Unfortunately it wasn’t the magic solution everyone claims it to be. It tastes horrible and they add multiple carrier oils.
