What I Like about Vantel Pearls

On this part of my Vantel Pearls review, allow me to present the things that I personally like about this MLM company.

#1 Industry leader with a good track record

I guess this pretty much answers your question “is Vantel Pearls a scam?”. Vantel Pearls has been operating for more than 3 decades and to last that long in the MLM industry is no mere easy feat.

Although it is hard finding some really informative articles and reviews about Vantel Pearls (especially a detailed compensation plan), the fact that this company still exist today is proof that some excellent things are going on for them.

#2 Unique product line

The success of distributors in any MLM company highly depends on the products that they are promoting. This is among my favorite things about Vantel Pearls.

The jewelry industry is one of the most popular ones in the world of MLM. Moreover, giving the customers a chance to buy canned oysters to experience harvesting pearls out of them is indeed something unique.

#3 Good Profits thru Direct Selling

Another thing worth mentioning about Vantel Pearls is that the company provides its distributors a chance to enjoy 25% – 41% profit margin by selling its products.

This shows that the company has legit products to promote that allows distributors to make money without relying on recruitment alone.

#4 Positive BBB rating

Vantel Pearls has been accredited by BBB since 2001 and currently has a B rating which is considered relatively good.

What I Don’t Like about Vantel Pearls

On the flip side, these are the things that I find concerning about Vantel Pearls.

#1 Numerous product complaints

During my research for this Vantel Pearls review, I came across some serious claims about the company’s products.

One “former” Vantel Pearls Consultant claims that the company has been buying dyed pearls that were transferred to Akoya shells to make them look real.

Other complaints involve getting damage pearls and broken jewelry pieces on their orders while some claims to receiving the wrong pearl color or the wrong item.

#2 Steep Commission Qualifications

For a distributor to be eligible to start earning commissions with Vantel Pearls, you will be required to first generate a minimum amount of $500 through personal sales over 2 months.

It is also important to note that your personal purchases, as well as your affiliates personal purchases do not count on the personal and group volumes requirements for your rank and commissions eligibility.

These amounts must come from actual sales to other people.

#3 Expensive products

If you happen to compare the prices of Vantel Pearls products such as the canned oysters to popular sites such as Amazon and eBay, you can easily spot them at prices that range from anywhere between about $5 and $8 on average.

Vantel Pearls is clearly charging quite a bit more (actually a lot more) for their products.

On their defense, Vantel Pearls claims that what the company is really selling is the unique experience of opening up your oyster with all your friends and family gathered around.

If you think that this experience alone is worthy of the massive price inflation, then I rest my case.

#4 Poor customer service

This is one of the most common issues on any MLM company. Like any typical MLM companies, Vantel Pearls either left the issues unresolved, or they hit you back on your complaints about late deliveries, refunds, or returns with outrageous policies.

#5 It all comes down to Recruitment

Although Vantel Pearls does not directly encourage their distributors to recruit new people, when you look at the company’s compensation plan and how the unilevel system works, it is clear that the only way for you to rack up huge commissions is by having a vast network of people to sell and promote your products.

Otherwise, I would not be surprised if a distributor would get stack in the Consultant level, doing direct selling alone.

#6 MLM companies have a huge failure rate

Vantel Pearls is an MLM (Multi-level Marketing) company, and most people fail in this type of businesses. I will discuss more about this in a moment.

Another issue I would like to point out is that you cannot succeed in an MLM company like Vantel Pearls without advancing in the ranks.

To be able to do so, you have to make a substantial product sales by growing your network. But one of the biggest challenges in any MLM business is how to recruit other people to join your company.

It is true that you have your friends and family at the start, but unless you are an expert in Attraction Marketing, you will eventually run out of prospects and leads.

Is Vantel Pearls a Scam?

Vantel Pearls has been around for many years and has been accredited and certified by various authorities so I can confidently say that Vantel Pearls is not a scam.

However, if you would ask me if I am going to recommend this company, then my answer is NO because of the enormous obstacles that stand in your way to success with network marketing.

I also think that your potential earnings for most this kind of business model are unstable and very low – unless you manage to grow your network immediately.

But I would love to hear your side. Is Vantel Pearls a scam? Let me hear your thoughts in the Comment Section below.

What is your chance of success in Vantel Pearls(and any other MLM companies)

To be honest, your odds of succeeding with Vantel Pearls does not look good. In fact, more than 95% of people who engages in MLM fail.

This is not a made up statistics to scare you. This is the agreed consensus across the whole MLM industry.

Why is that?

Well, there are many reasons, but on this Vantel Pearls review, I will give you 3 of the most common reasons why you will have trouble succeeding in this company.

#1 Not enough leads

As with any other businesses, you will need a seemingly endless supply of leads to be successful in Vantel Pearls. You will need people whom you can sell your products so you can make profits. You will need prospects to present your business and recruit to the business.

Unless you know how to recruit people effectively, you will find this obstacle hard to overcome. My advice is you learn more about Attraction Marketing and how to get an endless supply of prospects for your business.

#2 Not enough training and coaching

Many distributors fail in this industry because MLM companies do not provide a lot of helpful training and coaching sessions for them.

The reality is, once you become a member of an MLM company, you would be left on your own devices to learn how the business works, how to sell your products and how to recruit people.

Sure there are some remedial pieces of training that the company or your sponsor provides but most of the time, these are not nearly enough to make you successful.

You will need proven and tested training programs for network marketers to be able to get over this obstacle. Moreover, you will need a proper coach to monitor your progress and guide you all the way.

#3 Lack of skills

Finally, because most MLM distributors lack the proper training and coaching, it is not surprising that most of them do not have the skills on how to become an effective network marketer.

If you want to improve your chance of success in the MLM industry, I humbly suggest that you learn the art of selling and recruitment thru the best training programs for MLM and network marketing today.
