On WowApp’s official website, there isn’t much information about the company’s history, its founder and other whereabouts.
So I did some digging, and I found out that the domain wowapp.com was created way back in 2003 and was last updated in 2018.

I also found that the founder and current CEO of Wowapp is Thomas Knobel.
In his LinkedIn profile, it appears that Thomas was born in Switzerland and is also the founder of other companies such as Nobel, NobelBiz, and Nobel Financial.
Thomas appeared in TED Talk and multiple other interviews where he explains and promotes WowApp. The video below is one of them.

Another good thing about WowApp is that it provides various ways for you to make money online.
There are eight ways for you to earn WowCoins, and it is likely that there are one or more of them that suits your preference.
My Concerns About WowApp
On the other side of things, these are my concerns about WowApp as a GPT site.
#1 Cash Out Fees
It is worth mentioning that credit and PayPal cash out options charges a fee. For instance, if you want to cash out your earnings through PayPal, there is a $1 transaction fee + 8%
It’s quite reasonable to have small transaction fees whenever you move funds in PayPal, but an 8% fee is the highest I have seen.
Direct bank transfers, however, does not require some kind of transaction fees so if its something you are comfortable about, you should choose that option.
#2 Very Small Income Potential
This is the biggest issue in any GPT and Paid Survey sites. Although making money is pretty straightforward and almost effortless, your earning potential is very low.
You might find it very disappointing to spend a couple of hours using the platform, completing offers and tasks only to earn pennies in the end.
One way to boost your income, though, is to invite more people to join WowApp and become part of your team.
#3 Long Cash Out Process
As I am writing this WowApp review…
I came across many users that complains how long it takes for them to cash out their earnings. People are saying that it takes at least two months to get paid.

I can say with utmost certainty that WowApp is not a scam.
This is one of the legit GPT sites that will pay you accordingly based on the amount of time you invested in using the platform.
However, I cannot recommend WowApp as a reliable source of income.

Is WowApp Worth Your Time?
I believe that the answer to this question depends on your current priorities.
If you are only looking for something to make a little money during your free time, then WowApp could be one you need.
However, I believe that there are much better GPT sites that are more upfront in your earning potential and user-friendly.
For starters, you might want to check out PrizeRebel instead. You may not get to earn much too but I feel that it is much worthy of your time than WowApp.
How Much Can You Earn with WowApp?
Your earning potential with WowApp depends on how much time you want to spend using the platform and on which activities you spend it on.
If you use the platform regularly and if you genuinely enjoy its features, then you might earn a decent amount.
However, I will remind you, and I cannot stress this enough…
GPT sites such as WowApp are not a reliable source of income. Your earnings are way too low in exchange for the amount of time you spend with them.

Spending your time on legit GPT sites can provide you a little extra money on the side.
These sites can be useful, especially if you prefer completing online tasks, participating in surveys and other online activities.
However, I firmly believe that there are better opportunities for you to make money at home.
