Is PrizeRebel a Scam? - You Won't Get Paid Enough for Your Efforts!

One of the things that makes PrizeRebel look great, is the fact that it offers multiple ways to earn money.

People like it, and that's why the platform has over 8 million members now.

However, working on a multiple earning opportunities doesn't mean that you'll get compensated enough for your efforts.

And that's exactly the problem with PrizeRebel!

You won't earn much despite the time and effort you put in on this site.

Do you know why? Let me take you behind the scenes of this platform...

Summary: So what exactly is PrizeRebel?

PrizeRebel is a Get Paid To (GPT) site owned by iAngelic. It offers multiple ways to earn money online, such as paid surveys, offers, watching videos, and a lot more.

This platform is available in many countries worldwide, and it is absolutely free to register.

You'll earn points, which you can redeem for a wide variety of rewards (like Amazon Gift Cards, or even a PayPal payment) that you can choose from.

However, like with other GPT sites out there, you'll not be able to earn a decent amount of money from PrizeRebel.

One thing to highlight though, this is one of the best GPT sites on the internet, and if you are interested, you can get started here.

But, if you hate the fact that you can't earn much, then I highly recommend that you check this out.

How Does PrizeRebel Works?

Getting Started with PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel is available in many countries around the world.

However, most of the surveys and offers are only available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.

Everyone who is 16 years old and above can join the platform. But those who are 16-17 years old must have parental permission (the minimum age used to be 13 years old).

The registration is absolutely free, all you have to do is to put some of your personal/demographic information to get started.

PrizeRebel will use the data collected to decide which surveys and offers to present to you.

PrizeRebel Review - Initial Questionnaire

How Much Can You Earn?

Well, if you live in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia, you have a better chance to qualify for surveys.

But for people like me who lives in the Philippines, I've spent 30 mins taking dozens of surveys and qualifying for none.

I've qualified for a few surveys but was screened out (being thrown out of a survey you qualified for). All I've earned was 25 points in that 30 mins session.

All those points I've earned were pity points (participation points) for being screened out. That's the least that they could do for wasting a few minutes of my time.

And, that's what I liked about them. Firstly, they still reward you for participating (unlike many other GPT sites), and secondly, they won't waste a lot of your time before you get screened out.

Some GPT sites make you waste 15 to 20 mins before kicking you out of a survey.

Now the question is, even if you've qualified for the surveys, would you be willing to trade 15 minutes of your time for 27 points ($0.27)? That's 108 points ($1.08) for an hour of work.

PrizeRebel - Survey Opportunities

Honestly, you can't expect to earn much from PrizeRebel, or from other similar GPT sites. You can earn a small amount of money, but not enough to supplement a good percentage of your household income.

Which is why I recommend starting an online business instead.

Now to achieve $10 per week or more from PrizeRebel (if you are lucky enough), you'll have to participate in all of the earning opportunities, which I'm going to discuss below...

Different Ways to Earn Points

PrizeRebel offers many ways to earn points on its platform.

Some of them are so easy to complete (such as watching a video), while some of them requires you to do a set of tasks.

But, I am only going to mention a few popular ones...

PrizeRebel earning opportunities

#1 Earn Points for Completing Surveys

Online survey is one of the most popular ways to earn points from PrizeRebel.

It has a partnership with some survey providers such as Toluna, Global Test Market, Ipsos I-Say and YourSurveys.

The amount of points you can earn depends on the difficulty and the time required to complete the survey. The good thing is, the points and estimated time of completion are indicated beside the survey opportunity.

PrizeRebel review - survey offers

Each survey has its own screening questions (pre-qualification). And once you are working on the survey, the qualification is never stopped. It really depends on the answers, you've provided to them.

If they deemed that you are not the right person for the survey, they will throw you out right away, and you will see something like this...

PrizeRebel Scam - Screened Out

If you got screened out, you'll receive a PrizeRebel sweepstakes entry plus some pity points.

But, if you've successfully completed the survey, you'll receive your reward within 24 hours.

#2 Earn Points Completing Offers

Completing an offer might require you to do tasks like...

  • Visiting a certain website
  • Downloading an app
  • Play an online game; or
  • Purchase a certain product/service.

The points will be credited to your account within 24 hours after completing the offers.

#3 Earn Points by Watching Videos

You can earn unlimited points just by watching videos.

However, it doesn't as pay much compared to the survey rewards.

Videos come from Smores.tv and VideoLoyalty, and they are usually 3-5 minutes long.

Some members even complained that they've only earned $0.80 for watching videos the entire day.

#4 Simply Refer your Friends to Earn More Points!

In my opinion, the referral program is the most lucrative way to earn points in PrizeRebel.

You can earn up to 30% of your referral's earnings as long as they remain active in the platform. It is as easy as that!

The more people you refer, the better chance for you to earn more points.

#5 Be Active to Earn More!

PrizeRebel offers a multi-tiered membership program where you can get rewarded more as you earn points.

New members automatically start at the bronze level, and they can go up to the highest level which is the diamond level.

PrizeRebel Tiers

Referring to the image above, to climb the levels, you have to achieve the different milestones (which is the points required).

The higher your level, the more benefits you get.

This is the reason why some members (who are on the Diamond Level) claimed they were able to earn sizeable rewards from PrizeRebel.

But as you know, it takes a long time for you to accumulate points to reach the Platinum or the Diamond Level.

How to Redeem Your Points?

PrizeRebel redemption methods

PrizeRebel offers a lot of options to redeem your earnings.

The most popular ones are through gift cards and cash.

Unlike with other GPT sites, PrizeRebel's minimum cash out threshold is low. You can redeem your earnings as long as you've already earned at least 500 points.

Every 100 points is equal to $1, which means that you can get $5 when you cash out. Your payment can take up to 24 hours to process.

The Ugly Truth About PrizeRebel

#1 Tough to Qualify for Surveys

Each of the surveys has its own screening questions.

And, even if you've passed the screening questions, it doesn't mean that you are 100 percent qualified for the survey.

Depending on the answers you provide, the surveys are programmed to automatically determine if you are the right candidate to take the survey.

And, if you are not the right candidate, they will throw you out of the survey immediately. You do earn participation points, and an entry in the sweepstakes, but you can't expect much from it.

It gets frustrating for constantly being screened out, and that's probably why some members claimed that PrizeRebel is a scam.

Honestly, PrizeRebel isn't the only GPT site that has this problem. This is actually an industry norm.

But out of all the GPT sites, PrizeRebel is considered as one of the most generous in terms of rewarding participation points. Join PrizeRebel now.

#2 Beware of the SHADY OFFERS!

As I have mentioned above, some of the offers require you to purchase a certain product/service to get started.

My advice is to be vigilant, and only purchase products that you need. Do not purchase products/services for the purpose of earning points!

Because more likely than not, you will NOT be rewarded as much as the price you pay.

And aside from that, some members have reported that they have received a lot of spam emails after completing an offer.

#3 You Won't Earn Much

As I have told you earlier, you are lucky enough if you are able to earn $10 per week.

That's after spending hours upon hours completing surveys and offers.

The time and effort put into this for earning the reward points is definitely not justified. You'll probably earn more if you work at a fast food restaurant.

Well, you must not expect to earn a decent amount of money from Get Paid To (GPT) sites in the first place.

And, this is the reason why I don't recommend getting started with PrizeRebel or any other GPT sites. But, if you are looking for a legitimate GPT site to join, I'd say that PrizeRebel is one of the best.

Should You Join PrizeRebel? (Is it a Scam?)

I guess you already know the answer to this.

PrizeRebel is a legitimate platform, and people do get paid for spending time on the platform.

In fact, PrizeRebel is one of the best Get Paid To (GPT) sites on the internet. If you'd like to get started, you can do so here.

However, you are not going to earn much!

You could probably earn more if you work at a fast food restaurant. Of course, I understand that PrizeRebel comes with the time flexibility, unlike a job.

So, I would say that if you have spare time on hand, and you have nothing else better to do...

You can spend a little time (whenever possible) to complete the surveys and the offers. And, if you are at it long enough, you can get something back.

The good thing about this is that, unlike other GPT sites where you risk not getting rewarded, PrizeRebel can offer you that security.

But, if you are serious about earning a good income online, then I'd highly recommend that you check out this program instead.

My Sincere Advice to You

As I've mentioned above, PrizeRebel is one of the best GPT sites on the internet.

What you need to know about GPT sites is that many of them closes your account, when you are almost ready to cash out. And they don't give you any proper reasons.

PrizeRebel is different. I haven't seen one complain about not getting rewarded after accumulating sufficient points (500 points is the minimum to cash out). And, I did get rewarded for my efforts as well.

So, if you have nothing else better to do with your time, then it makes sense to get started with PrizeRebel.

But, if you are serious about earning a good income online, then PrizeRebel may not be the solution for you. I recommend that you check out this program instead.

This is the program that is responsible for thousands of online success stories. Here's my humble success story with the program. I hope that you can benefit from it too.
