However, you’re worried that Color Street is a scam, and you’ll just end up wasting your time.
Well, I can’t really blame you if you’re having these negative thoughts.
After all, there have been complaints against this company, and some people even claim it is another pyramid scheme.
So in this Color Street nails review, we’ll be discussing what this company is all about, it’s products, and if it’s a profitable business opportunity for you.

Quick Summary: The first thing you’ll have to consider before investing your time and money in this company is whether or not you know a lot of people who would buy the more expensive (compared to other brands) nail art from Color Street.
And aside from selling Color Street nails yourself, you must also build a large and “active” sales team or you cant expect to earn a decent income as a stylist. I will explain why below.

What is Color Street Nails?
The term “Color Street Nails” commonly refers to the products of the Multi-level Marketing (MLM) company Color Street.
Founded and officially launched by Fa Park in 2017, Color Street sells ready to use “100% real nail polish strips” (nail art) that you can stick on your nails in minutes.
The idea behind this product, as what the company and its hordes of Independent Stylist claims, is to avoid smudging your newly done nail polish and wasting your time and money in the process.
Color Street nails are similar to the products promoted by another MLM called Jamberry (aka BeneYou).
But while the idea of “instant” nail polish is innovative and despite making your nails pretty…
There are crucial things you should know about Color Street if you’re planning to join the company for business.
Furthermore, let me assure you that my intention is not to damage the reputation of Color Street.
I merely wish to provide you a clear idea of what this opportunity is really about and what are the challenges you’ll likely face when you become a Stylist.
The Ugly Truths of Color Street Business Opportunity
1. Color Street Nails – Just an “expensive version” of Incoco and Coconut Nail Art products?
Color Street, Coconut Nail Art, and Incoco (Innovative Cosmetic Concepts) are basically the same company. They are all owned by Fa Park, and they offer the same products.
Now just to be clear, there’s nothing wrong if Fa Park wants to sell some of his company’s product lines exclusively using an MLM business model.
The problem herein lies in the fact that the products of Color Street are the same quality and make of Incoco and Coconut Nail Art, yet Color Street Nails cost at least twice as much compared to other two.
In the image below, Incoco and Coconut Nail Art only cost between $4-7 while the same French design of Color Street cost $14.
If Mr. Park can sell his other products in Walmart at much cheaper prices, then why not Color Street Nails too?
Well, I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume that its to support the company’s MLM compensation plan, which I will discuss in a moment.
Nevertheless, the expensive price tags on Color Street Nails is most probably the reason why the affiliates of the company are having a hard time making sales.
On one of the reliable Color Street reviews online, a stylist claims that she is having trouble selling 5k worth Color Street Nails. She even added that she is broke!
Whew! $5,000 worth of unsold products is a lot of bad investment. Imagine using even ⅕ of that on a business that better suits your passion and interest?
I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want to invest my time and money in a company where affiliates are going broke.
But of course, this is my own opinion, and if you wish to share yours, you can leave a comment below.
2. Color Street Nails Don’t Last 2 Weeks?
The company and its stylist touts that the Color Street nails can last and look good up to two weeks.
However, according to Color Street nails reviews from people who actually tried the products…
It’s only possible for the Color Street nail arts to last two weeks if your hands are idle and do nothing every single day.
But if you’re an average person who eats, takes a bath, do laundry and other daily activities, said products would only look good for a much shorter time.
As a Color Street stylist, it’s only moral and ethical that you make this clear to your customers and not make any false claims.
3. Nail art is losing its popularity
Nail art was a big hit some time ago, especially in 2012, which gives birth to the idea of MLM companies like Color Street and Jamberry.
However, a quick search on “nail art” using Google trends will show you that the popularity of said products has been steadily declining over the past years.
A possibility exists that 3-5 years from now, no more people are going to buy this product and you’ll have invested your time and money on a company that’s going out of business.
Although, this is mere speculation in my part. Who knows in the coming years, nail art could move up in the fashion trends again.
But what if it doesn’t? Is that a risk you’re willing to take?
4. No product discounts
One perk of joining most MLM companies is to enjoy exclusive member’s discounts on the products.
Color Street doesn’t give you product discounts when you join as a Stylist.
You do, however, can get a 25-35% rebates on product orders placed by you or your customers through your replicated Color Street website that the company will provide.
I’m guessing the rebates paid to Stylist is what makes the Color Street nails more expensive than Incoco and Coconut Nail Art.
Your basic rebates or “retail commissions” is at 25%.
If you want to earn more than 25% rebates and earn residual income too, you’ll need to become BQ (Bonus Qualified) by placing an order of at least $300 PV worth of products within a single month.
Considering the price of Color Street Nails that ranges between $11-14, then you’ll have to sell at least 1 product per day within 30 days to meet this requirement.
I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot of product sales to make. It surely is a tough task to accomplish unless you know how to drive constant traffic to your Color Street website and get a steady flow of leads.
And if you think that’s bad already, wait until you hear this.
5. Independent Stylist accounts can be terminated
Color Street will terminate your Stylist account if you can’t get an “Active” status in at least 1 of 6 consecutive months.
You will be considered active within a calendar month by achieving BQ by making sales of at least $300 PV, as I discussed above.
With these things into consideration, joining Color Street only makes sense if you’re confident that you can make at least $300 each month without fail, or in worst cases, at least once within 6 months.
Otherwise, there’s no point in joining this company. I’m sure you don’t want to spend your time and money only to get terminated after six months.
Color Street allows the reactivation of terminated accounts by paying a $25 Reactivation Fee.
6. Recruitment is the name of the game
While you can get rebates on product orders as a Color Street Independent Stylist, you probably know now that selling the products will be tough based on the things I’ve shared above.
It is probably why the company rewards better incentives to stylists that can bring more people into the company and build a large sales team.
Color Street will pay you residual commissions based on the products sold by your team using a Unilevel structure.
If you’re unfamiliar with the different types of MLM compensation plans, then Unilevel is one of the most straightforward among them.
In Unilevel, all person that you recruit and become Color Street Stylists will be placed in your Level 1. All recruits of your Level 1 will be placed in your Level 2 and so on.
There are different Color Street stylist ranks, and the company will pay you monthly residual commissions down to the fourth level.
- Stylist – 3% on level 1
- Senior Stylist- 3% on level 1 and 2
- Team Leader – 3% on level 1, 2 and 3
- Director and above – 3% on level 1, 2, 3 and 4
Higher ranking stylist is naturally entitled to earn bigger commissions.
For example, if you’re a Senior Director ranked stylist, you can earn 1.5% additional commissions down to level 5 of your team.
And as you move up the ranks, you can also earn a monthly Lifestyle Bonus between $50 up to $1000.
However, to qualify for these commissions, you’ll have to become Bonus Qualified (BQ) by making at least $300 worth of products in a single month.

Based on the video above, it’s safe to say that you won’t be able to earn a decent income with Color Street unless you can move up to at least the rank of Team Leader.
And moving up the rank is impossible without recruiting people and building a sales team.
Therefore if selling nail art and recruiting people is not your cup of tea, then this business opportunity might not be for you.
7. Most Independent Stylists are NOT making money
Based on the 2018 Color Street Income Disclosure Statement released by the company, over 94.51% of all Color Street Independent Stylists are not making a decent income.
And 54.32% of all the people who joined the company are stuck at the rank of Stylist and merely earning an average monthly income of $11.76.
Not really the kind of income you’re hoping for when you first want to join this company, right?
Furthermore, this income statement didn’t include the expenses and the investment each stylist put up while doing the business.
So we can even assume that instead of making money, many people actually lose money after they joined Color Street.
That $5k worth of unsold Color Street Nails products I discussed above keeps coming back to my mind.
Color Street Consultant/Stylist – How much does it cost?
During this Color Street nails review, you will need to purchase the Starter Kit that costs $129 to become a Color Street Independent Stylist.
The kit comes with various products that are said to be worth $250 in value. You will also then be given access to your own replicated Color Street website, back office, training, and marketing tools.
Right after purchasing this kit, you can immediately earn 25% rebates from the product orders placed by you or other people on your website.
However, to earn higher rebates, qualify for other bonuses, and earn residual commissions, you’ll have to generate at least $300 worth of product sales first.
Is Color Street a Scam?
While I may have voiced out numerous concerns about this company, its products, and business opportunity, I am confident that Color Street is not a scam.
The company sells real and tangible products in exchange for your money and while some people expressed their dismay about the Color Street Nails…
You can also see others who love them.
Moreover, you might also be worried that Color Street is a pyramid scheme. Well, rest assured that it isn’t.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) made a clear distinction between legitimate MLM companies to pyramid schemes.
In a pyramid scheme, retail profits are out, and the products are no more than cover for the illegal activity, which is chain recruitment.
You won’t benefit anything from promoting a product in a pyramid scheme because your income will only come from enrolling new people.
Meanwhile, as a Color Street stylist, you can earn 25-35% rebates for every product order placed on your website.
You also don’t get any incentive in enrolling a new stylist unless that person begins selling the company products. No commissions or bonuses of any kind are paid based on sales of Color Street Starter Kits.
All company commissions and bonuses during this Color Street Nails review are based on product sales, which make Color Street a legitimate MLM company.
Nevertheless, it’s no mystery that the only people who made a lot of income in Color Street are those who were able to sell tons of products by building a large network of stylists under them.

Before you invest your time and money in Color Street, you should first ask yourself these:
- How confident are you that you can sell a lot of nail art products from Color Street?

- Are you willing to sell and recruit people every day to reach your financial goals?
If yes, then I will suggest that you start your journey as a Color Street stylist with this training program.
