Contrary to other popular eCommerce and dropshipping courses such as the Amazing Selling Machine (for FBA), Marketplace Superheroes (also for FBA) or PAC (FBA and Shopify)…

The 7 Figure Skills covers a lot less training modules for its price.

The good thing about this course is that it does have some good contents that could be useful for in starting a dropshipping business.

There are 9 training modules (videos and downloadable contents) that come with 7 Figure Skills, along with a few bonus contents.

Module 2 is merely a continuation of Module 1.

In here, Aj dives deep into the previous topics and starts with a “real-life case study” on how a single product has the potential to generate $100,000 over the course of one month.

The study centers on the premise that in high-ticket dropshipping, you only need to sell 20 products that worth $5,000 a piece to hit the one hundred K.

Whereas, you would need as much as 5,000 sales if you are selling a 20$ product.

Aj also introduces an online tool which he personally uses (and trademarked) to brainstorm ideas and find new products to sell that will enable you to build and scale your business in no time.

This module also comes with a downloadable report that reveals more than 200 products to start your business with. However, not all these products are high-ticket products.

There are low-ticket products included which made me wonder…

I thought this course is about selling high-ticket products?

Maybe Aj simply wishes to provide you with some flexibility but still, this goes on the opposite direction to the main idea on which this course is built upon – selling high-ticket products. (more on this in a moment)

On this module, Aj focuses on how to utilize Google Ads into driving traffic to your business.

You will also learn how to effectively price the products that you are selling in such a way that you maximize your profits without losing sales to your competitors.

There’s a section on how to find a “winning niche” but that will simply take you into using the Pick-A-Niche™ Online Tool.

Finally, you will also be given access to a directory of “strong suppliers” but are just actually a listing of AliExpress sellers.

Personally, I do not think this training special when compared to the ones offered by much cheaper eCommerce training programs.

I would even say that a good number of the training videos that come on this module are readily available for free on YouTube.

The basic things such as how to set up your Shopify store, how to get a higher conversion, how to build a brand and the whole shebang.

Partnering with US-based dropshipping suppliers is an unlikely option for you.

Suppliers from the US requires SSS numbers and IDs among other things. It is then safe to assume that local US suppliers won’t work with you.

You might want to consider AliExpress instead.

But if you reside stateside and planning to start a Shopify business, then this could be of use.

As social media has become a normal part of anyone’s daily routine, it is likely that you can utilize this to generate sales for your business. I am not sure if this strategy will work on selling high-ticket items that cost thousands of dollars.

People usually go to a trusted brand or a brick and mortar store when spending those kinds of money but still…

Exposure is what your business needs at the beginning. What best way there is to expand the reach of your advertising and marketing than on one of the most popular social media platform – Facebook.

Aj claims this Facebook community to be worth $1,997, which I find hard to believe.

I took the liberty of visiting 7FS’s FB page and the group doesn’t seem to be very active and not exclusive either.

The page doesn’t seem to fit the $1,997 price.

As you can see on the image below, the posts are very scarce, the one from March 15 was followed on April 20.

Also, not much member’s engagement either.

On the bright side, the “private” online community could be an entirely different group from what I showed you here so I will give Aj the benefit of the doubt.

7 Figure Skills Price

As I am writing this 7 Figure Skills review, the course comes in three packages.

The Basic Package costs $1297,
Hold My Hand mentorship program costs $2497 and;
the Done-For-You solution will cost you $5997.

What I Like About 7 Figure Skills?

Overall, the 7 Figure Skills is a decent training course that could help you build your own high-ticket dropshipping business from scratch. These are the things I personally found appealing about the course.

#1 Detailed Course on How To “Potentially” Earn Huge Profits

The foundation of 7 Figure Skills is teaching you how to sell high-ticket products online.

Needless to say, these products will fetch you a healthy profit every time you make sales. Also, all you need is to make a few (much fewer) sales per month to cover your overhead expenses and keep some profits.

When done right, you only need to sale 10-20 items when running a high-ticket dropshipping business on Shopify instead of the need to sell hundreds and even thousands when selling low ticket item.

Furthermore, selling expensive products that are usually targeted to the higher middle class and above means fewer returns and customer service.

#2 Teaches the 5 Elements of Any Profitable Niche

The 7 Figure Skills will teach you the 5 elements that you need to familiarize if you are planning to start a high-ticket dropshipping business.

These elements include the best profitable product price, finding premium suppliers, limiting your suppliers to only 5-10, how to find the best niche with less than 25 competitors and the “No Brand Loyalty” strategy.

#3 How to Utilize Google Ads

I was hesitant to include this on the things that I find attractive about 7FS as there are plenty of free training videos on YouTube that will teach you the same.

However, I decided to add this here as I appreciate how Aj presented the training about Google Ads in such a way that it is easier to understand even in the perspective of complete beginners.

There are also training videos that discuss how to properly set up your Google Ads campaigns and such.

I suggest that you contact the people behind 7FS if you need more details about this feature.

My Concerns About 7 Figure Skills

On this part of my 7 Figures Review, allow me to present the other side of the coin. Below are the things that can be considered “bad” (and even ugly) about this course.

#1 Expensive for What its Worth

I understand that this course is different from the majority due to the fact that it primarily on focuses on how to sell high ticket products.

Some might argue that the contents of the 7 Figure Skills course are worth every penny that you are going to pay.

However, I beg to differ.

I have personal experience with other eCommerce training programs and I would say that 7FS is a little over-priced for what it’s worth.

#2 High-Ticket Training Program Or Not?

I mentioned this earlier and I just want to expand my concern regarding the contents of this course, especially in Module 2.

The products included in the report were not all high-ticket products that you can sell but actually comes with cheap ones.

I mentioned earlier that this could just be the creators, AJ and J, giving us a wider range of options regarding the products to sell.

However, the main selling point of 7 Figure Skills is that it promises to teach people how to sell expensive products online.

What about the idea of selling 20 x $,5000 products to hit 100K?

The reason why most people pay a load of money for this course is that it claims to teach them how to sell high-ticket products.

If 7FS does not do that, then I would rather opt for other equally impressive eCommerce training programs that do not cost as much.

#3 Not for Beginners

This is in consideration that the course encourages people to put up a huge amount of money as capital.

Yes, starting an online business in Shopify or Amazon will require an upfront investment but it doesn’t have to cost this much. For someone who has no prior knowledge and experience in running an online store on Shopify…

Focusing on high-ticket products on your first try is a bold yet VERY risky move. If things go south, you can quickly find yourself deep in debt.

#4 Regional Specific Contents

One thing I always look at a training program (especially for something with this price tag) is if the contents are applicable to anyone, anywhere in the world.

Although most of the contents in 7 Figure Skills can be considered as such…

There are some and even a whole module (module 5) that will be deemed useless if you are not from the US. This makes it a questionable investment.

Paying premium dollars for a course which contents you cannot take advantage of 100% is impractical.

I personally do not think this is an issue if you are paying a $100 for a course, but for the price you are paying for 7FS, this is a big deal.

#5 Heavy Reliant On Paid Traffic

There are two ways to drive traffic to your business, organic (free) and paid.

Google Ads is a paid traffic source and here’s one major concern I have about relying completely on paid traffic for your business.

Facebook or Google does not care if your ads are profitable or not. They will continue to spend your budget whether you are making sales or not.

When running paid advertisements, you must constantly pay close attention to your ad performances and your sales numbers every day.

The thing is, just because you have a successful paid Ads that are converting well today, it doesn’t mean that it will perform the same tomorrow.

Paid ads does not work like that. Over time, paid ads will mature, and you’ll have to start a new campaign.

My Solution

I suggest that you build your online business reputation thru organic traffic.

With free traffic, you just need to create original and high-quality content once and you might not need to take a second look at it ever again.

That piece of content (blog post, product sales pages, etc) can “potentially” drive customers to your business in all the years to come without you ever touching it again.

This is why famous bloggers and online entrepreneurs constantly update their contents every single day!

On that note…

This cheaper training program will teach you how to successfully generate organic traffic for your eCommerce business. Meanwhile, if you have no problem getting your leads from paid traffic all the way…

Then you might want to check out this program too.

#6 Content Templates

I think Aj’s heart might be on the right place on wanting to help people achieve the same level of success he attained with dropshipping. But I find his methods a little questionable.

In the case of the content templates, I have no concerns if you are planning to use paid advertisements all the way.

But if you are planning to utilize organic traffic for your business (and I think you should), then you might run into some challenges.

Why?

Anyone who has decent knowledge about SEO would do better than using any of these content templates.

This is because there will be tons of other Shopify stores that are already using them and there are more who might use them in the future.

Chances are, your contents will appear as “duplicate contents” to Google and other search engines.

#7 Sketchy Marketing Strategies

If you visit the 7 Figure Skills sales page, you will notice plenty of limited time offers and discounts.

I have no problem about using the scarcity marketing strategy. But I think they went overboard with theirs that these offers appears a little “scammy”.

Yes, these are not true.

I wasn’t able to finish this review in a single day and that gives me time to check these offers.

Guess what. The one that says expires in 1 hour is till there after 24 hours. Also, there are some inconsistencies on the prices of the packages.

If the training modules that comes with 7 Figure Skills are as effective as what Aj claims to be, there is no need for this (again) scammy marketing propaganda.

Is 7 Figure Skills A Scam?

I can say with confidence that 7 Figure Skills is not a scam. However, I do question if the course is worth its price tag.

As I have repeatedly expressed on this 7 Figure Skills review…

I feel that there are much cheaper dropshipping courses out there that can provide the same quality of training programs.

Verdict

I do agree with a lot of what AJ Jomah had to teach on the 7 Figure Skills. I understand his intentions of selling high-ticket products instead of the cheap ones.

If you wanna get far into the eCommerce business, I do believe you should stay away from selling really cheap products.

However, the big challenge with high-ticket dropshipping business model is you will have to spend much more in ad to get each sale.

You will also expose yourself on the risks of losing huge amount of money (especially if you are a beginner) if things do not go out as planned, which believe me, is likely to happen in any online business model.

My Sincere Advice

If you are seriously considering to start a high-ticket dropshipping business on Shopify…

I recommend that you take a look at other courses as an alternative to 7 Figure Skills. I am not saying that this course cannot provide you with the knowledge and skills that you need to succeed.

However, it is better to take a look around before deciding to settle on one thing.

Is 7 Figure Skills For You?

That depends.

Running an eCommerce business, regardless of doing it on Shopify or on Amazon requires knowledge and skills.

This is especially true if you are planning to start a high-ticket dropshipping business.
