If ClixSense is indeed a scam or an excellent income source, you will find out in the next few minutes.
ClixSense Review Summary
ClixSense has been making a lot of noise recently...
But you might like to know that this website has been around for a long time.
Due to the time that they have been in the industry, ClixSense managed to establish a solid foundation that they can take members from anywhere around the world.
Unlike the majority of GPT sites that can only cater members from a few regions, ClixSense is operating globally!
Now without any further delays, let's talk EVERYTHING about ClixSense.
What is ClixSense - A Brief History
ClixSense is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site which was founded in February 2007. However, ClixSense wasn’t originally a GPT site. On its earliest years, it started as pure a Paid-To-Click (PTC) website.
As time goes by…
ClixSense found it necessary to add new ways for their members to make money online. They began incorporating other means to bring in more people by offering different income streams.
As a result, ClixSense changed its overall business model form a PTC site to a GPT site. They decided to discontinue all of its PTC advertisements in 2017.
ClixSense now also offers an affiliate program to its members. Every time you refer someone and they become a ClixSense member too; you get additional pay.
As I am writing this review...
ClixSense offers to pay its members real money in exchange for completing menial tasks such as participating in online surveys, market research, cash offers, and other online tasks.
The ClixSense main office is currently located in Hampstead, North Carolina.
The Men Behind ClixSense
Many people didn’t know (or didn’t bother to research) that although ClixSense is currently owned and managed by James Grago…
Clixsense was actually launched by Steve Girsky and John McConnell in 2007. The two were the owners of StormPay.
The site's ownership was then transferred to James G in 2011.
How to Make Money with ClixSense
Moving on to your most anticipated part of this ClixSense review 2019, here’s how you can make money with this GPT site.
There are 5 ways you can make money online or at home with ClixSense.
You can either participate in paid surveys, complete online tasks, ClixSense offers, through their affiliate program or by completing the daily bonus tasks.
Participating in online surveys is one of the primary income sources for any ClixSense member.
However, the availability of these surveys and the pay rate largely depends on your location and your personal demographics.
- Tier 1 countries ($0.8 to $5)
- Tier 2 countries ($0.3 to $2.5)
*ClixSense categorizes developed countries like the US, the UK, and some countries in European as Tier 1; while the rest are Tier 2.
ClixSense Tasks (Figure Eight Tasks)
Completing ClixSense tasks is probably the best way for you to make good money in ClixSense. This is also especially true if you are not from any of the Tier 1 countries.
ClixSense tasks are provided by a third party company, Figure Eight.
One thing I should point out is that unlike surveys, ClixSense tasks are not limited by location and demographics.
The amount you earn will depend on your talent and the amount of time you can devote to working online.
- Figure Eight tasks usually pay $1 to $3 per hour. You also get a $5 bonus for every $50 you make completing these tasks.
If there is ClixSense scam going on, it is highly to occur in the ClixSense Offers. These offers are provided and operated by third-party companies outside the control of ClixSense.
An offer can be anything from testing a new company product to merely watching videos. Some of the most common offers are:
- Testing new services
- Watching videos
- Signing up for websites
I am not saying all ClixSense offers is a scam. You just have to be very careful about how you proceed.
- The pay depends on the kind of offer you participate in, but the usual range is from a few cents to $5.
ClixSense Affiliate Program
If you want to increase your earning potential with ClixSense, then you can become an affiliate by inviting people to join ClixSense at your referral. Here’s how it works:
- For each referral that becomes active, you will earn a signup commission of $0.10 or $0.30 from select countries
- Once your referrals earn their first $5.00 (excluding commissions and bonuses), you will also make an extra $2 bonus!
- For every approved Survey, Offer and Task your referrals complete, you earn a whopping 20% commission of what they make.
- *SPECIAL PROMO - Referrals from Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden will earn you a $5.00 bonus once they make their first $5.00.
- *BONUS - You will also get the chance to earn up to 30% of what your referrals make!
ClixSense Daily Bonus
Every day, you can find a daily bonus program on the ClixSense website. These are tasks or offers that have a higher payout than usual. There are 3 kinds of ClixSense daily bonuses.
You can earn 16% bonus by completing the daily checklist and completing the following:
- At least 2 surveys/offers;
- Complete at least 10 tasks;
- Complete a single survey/offer and other 5 tasks.
Installing ClixAddon Bonus
You can earn an additional bonus of 2% of your earnings by installing the ClixAddon and running it for at least one hour.
Completing the daily checklist for 3 consecutive days will entitle you to an additional 2% of your total earnings.
How to Get Paid with ClixSense
ClixSense is one of the few GPT sites that provides its members with an ample choice of payout options.
By the time you managed to earn at a minimum of $10, you can request for payment through any of the following:
- Tango Card
- Check for the US and Canada only
What I like about ClixSense
There are many things that I find appealing with this GPT site. For instance:
A good track record
ClixSense has been in the industry for more than a decade and has already paid more than 37M members since 2007.
Free to Join
A vast majority of these so-called work at home opportunities will charge you a membership fee to be able to use their services.
With ClixSense, you can get started immediately without worrying about such things.
Positive BBB Rating
ClixSense was awarded with the A Rating by the Better Businesses Bureau (BBB).
It is also worth to mention that for all the time this site has been operating, it has received very few complaints by the time I am writing this.
Operates Globally (almost)
Clixsense is an income generating option that is available in “almost” every other country in the world.
And the fact that they offer many different payout options for you to choose from, all you have to do is see if any of them is available in your country and you are good to go.
Excellent payout options
As mentioned earlier, ClixSense is among the few GPT sites that provide at least 5 payment options for their members to choose from.
What I don't like about ClixSense
To keep this ClixSense review as unbiased as any reviews should be, these are the things that raise some concerns about ClixSense.
Tier 1 > Tier 2 members
Being a resident of the country that ClixSense labels as Tier 1 put you at a clear advantage. To mention a few…
- The affiliate program is only available for members that belong to the Tier 1 countries.
- The amount of survey you can get is also dependent on whether you belong to Tier 1 or Tier 2 countries.
- The pay for each survey is almost 50% better for members in Tier 1 countries.
Tier 1 countries include:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.
Extremely low earning potential
Much like other free to join GPT sites such as UniqueRewards, ClixSense offers meager payments to its members.
Unless you are fine slaving away your time every day, you cannot expect to earn a decent income completing tasks and surveys from ClixSense.
No PayPal payout option
PayPal is probably one of the most recognized payment options in the whole world.
PayPal has a tremendous global reach that extends even to the most remote and underdeveloped countries whom the residents can very much benefit a home-based online opportunity such as ClixSense.
The fact that they do not have a PayPal payout option makes it very hard for these people to utilize this opportunity.
No mobile app
Do not fall for the fake ClixSense mobile apps you can find for iOS or Andriod. Malicious parties probably create these. Keep in mind that up to the time I am writing this review, ClixSense has no mobile app.
If you want to earn money with ClixSense, you have to sit down in front of your computer at home or in a computer shop.
Few or NO surveys for Tier 2 members
Again, your income potential from ClixSense surveys is very much dependent on your demographic.
If you are someone who falls under the Tier 2 countries, it is likely that you will have trouble getting surveys every day; if ever you get some. It is true that Clixsense could be global, but your luck quickly runs out if you don't belong to the Tier 1 communities.
ClixSense account limit
ClixSense made it clear that to maintain the credibility of their survey and task results. They only allow 1 member per household.
This means that if there are 5 of you in your house, only 1 will be allowed to have a ClixSense account and earn through its platform.
ClixSense Pros and Cons
Before I end this ClixSense review, below is my pros and cons list for this GPT site.
- Good track record
- Free to join
- Multiple ways to earn money
- Various payout options
- Global presence
- A Rated with BBB
- Has mostly positive reviews from members
- Highly favors members from Tier 1 countries
- Extremely low earning potential
- Does not support PayPal payout
- No mobile app
Is ClixSense a scam?
I am confident that Clixsense is not a scam. However, I also cannot call it a “worthwhile income source.”
The rates they offer for completing the tasks is very very low, especially for members that belong to the Tier 2 countries.
I understand that it is free to get started with ClixSense, but I personally think that anyone’s time and effort should be paid much much more.
How about you? Is ClixSense scam after all? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.

All you have to do is click the link I have provided below, and you will be redirected to ClixSense official Sign Up page.
My Sincere Advice
Although ClixSense is an overall good GPT site that provides an excellent earning opportunity to its members, I found it very underpaying.
There are a lot of free to get started money-making opportunities online that compensates your time and effort at a much better rate. Take this online business program for example.
This program is also free to get started, but contrary to ClixSense, it has the potential to change your life for the better by providing you with a substantial income source.
On the other hand, if joining GPT sites has a special place in your heart, I think PrizeRebel will compensate you better for your efforts.
