ClixSense is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site which was founded in February 2007. However, ClixSense wasn’t originally a GPT site. On its earliest years, it started as pure a Paid-To-Click (PTC) website.

As time goes by…

ClixSense found it necessary to add new ways for their members to make money online. They began incorporating other means to bring in more people by offering different income streams.

As a result, ClixSense changed its overall business model form a PTC site to a GPT site. They decided to discontinue all of its PTC advertisements in 2017.

ClixSense now also offers an affiliate program to its members. Every time you refer someone and they become a ClixSense member too; you get additional pay.

ClixSense offers to pay its members real money in exchange for completing menial tasks such as participating in online surveys, market research, cash offers, and other online tasks.

The ClixSense main office is currently located in Hampstead, North Carolina.

Clixsense was actually launched by Steve Girsky and John McConnell in 2007. The two were the owners of StormPay.

How to Make Money with ClixSense?

There are 5 ways you can make money online or at home with ClixSense.

As mentioned earlier, ClixSense is among the few GPT sites that provide at least 5 payment options for their members to choose from.

What I don’t like about ClixSense

To keep this ClixSense review as unbiased as any reviews should be, these are the things that raise some concerns about ClixSense.

Tier 1 > Tier 2 members

Being a resident of the country that ClixSense labels as Tier 1 put you at a clear advantage. To mention a few…

• The affiliate program is only available for members that belong to the Tier 1 countries.
• The amount of survey you can get is also dependent on whether you belong to Tier 1 or Tier 2 countries.
• The pay for each survey is almost 50% better for members in Tier 1 countries.

Tier 1 countries include:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.

Extremely low earning potential

Much like other free to join GPT sites such as UniqueRewards, ClixSense offers meager payments to its members. 

Unless you are fine slaving away your time every day, you cannot expect to earn a decent income completing tasks and surveys from ClixSense.

No PayPal payout option

PayPal is probably one of the most recognized payment options in the whole world.

PayPal has a tremendous global reach that extends even to the most remote and underdeveloped countries whom the residents can very much benefit a home-based online opportunity such as ClixSense.

The fact that they do not have a PayPal payout option makes it very hard for these people to utilize this opportunity.

No mobile app

Do not fall for the fake ClixSense mobile apps you can find for iOS or Andriod. Malicious parties probably create these. Keep in mind that up to the time I am writing this review, ClixSense has no mobile app.

If you want to earn money with ClixSense, you have to sit down in front of your computer at home or in a computer shop.

Few or NO surveys for Tier 2 members

Again, your income potential from ClixSense surveys is very much dependent on your demographic.

If you are someone who falls under the Tier 2 countries, it is likely that you will have trouble getting surveys every day; if ever you get some. It is true that Clixsense could be global, but your luck quickly runs out if you don’t belong to the Tier 1 communities.

ClixSense account limit

ClixSense made it clear that to maintain the credibility of their survey and task results. They only allow 1 member per household.

This means that if there are 5 of you in your house, only 1 will be allowed to have a ClixSense account and earn through its platform.

Is ClixSense a Scam?

I am confident that Clixsense is not a scam. However, I also cannot call it a “worthwhile income source.”

The rates they offer for completing the tasks is very very low, especially for members that belong to the Tier 2 countries.

I understand that it is free to get started with ClixSense, but I personally think that anyone’s time and effort should be paid much much more.
