Is Legerweb a Scam? - You Might Run Out of Survey Opportunities!
A lot of people love to work with surveys, as it is one of the easiest ways to make extra cash online.
As you already know, Legerweb is a platform that offers this opportunity.
However, due to the dying demand for survey panels, Legerweb doesn't offer a plenty of surveys anymore.
In fact, I've seen some members who did not receive any survey offers at all.
I am not trying to disappoint you, but it is the truth. And it is the reason why some people claim that Legerweb is a scam.
So if you want to earn extra cash online, Legerweb is not a good choice.
I recommend that you try PrizeRebel instead. This platform offers more opportunities and it has low cash out threshold.
You won't earn much, but at least, you'll get a better chance of cashing out compared to other Get Paid To (GPT) sites.
On the other side, if you really want to earn substantial amount of income online, then I'd highly suggest that you check out this program.

So you might find yourself almost unable to cash out.

What is Legerweb?
Legerweb is one of the largest survey panels in Canada owned by Leger Marketing.
It was founded in 2004.
The platform claims that it has 400,000 active participants from Canada.
Anyone in the Canada and United States who are 13 years old or older can join Legerweb.
However, the platform focuses more on Canadian residents, that's why those who live in the U.S. might only get few survey offers.
How Does Legerweb Works?
Getting Started with Legerweb
Joining the platform is absolutely free, you just need to provide your personal information to get started.
After that, you'll receive an email from Legerweb containing a confirmation link.
Just open that link to confirm your registration, and you can now complete your profile to start receiving survey offers.
How to Earn Money with Legerweb?
#1 Survey Offers (There's not much surveys available!)
Surveys would take up to 20 minutes to complete.
You'll get paid with cash (around $0.25 to $1), and some amount of chances that you can use in monthly draws.
In some instances, you can also get rewarded with Air Miles or Aeroplan Miles points. But most of the time, Legerweb pays with cash.
Rewards would take up to 72 hours to reflect in your account after completing a survey.
One thing that I personally like about Legerweb is that, you can complete the surveys either through your computer, or using your smartphone.
Surveys require a specific demographic, and this is the reason why most of the members are having a hard time to qualify for them.
Even though the requirements for surveys is close, some of the users are still able to receive a good amount of survey offers...
But take note, the number of survey opportunities that you'll receive will heavily depend on your demographics.
Participate in Focus Groups
You can get paid more when you participate in focus groups.
But, getting an invitation to participate in this study is even rarer than receiving a good amount of survey opportunity.
Legerweb follows strict rules in rewarding the participants in focus groups.
For example, Tatiana wasn't paid because she wasn't able to complete the group discussion...
Even though she has explained that a technical issue made her unable to answer some of the questions, Legerweb had not still given her any consideration.
Refer Your Friends
You can earn $1 from each of your friends that you refer into the platform.
Legerweb will pay you when your referral has completed its profile and successfully answered his/her first survey.
You can refer as many as you want, that's why the referral program is one of the most lucrative ways to earn money from the platform.
Monthly Draws (Winning is a Pure Luck!)
You are automatically entered into the monthly draw once that you earn a 'chance'.
Chances are earned every time you complete a survey. It only means that you can increase your chance of winning by completing more surveys.
As you can see from the picture above, you could possibly win a huge amount of money.
But don't expect too much...
Winning on the monthly draw is a pure luck.
How to Redeem Your Earnings?
You can cash out as long as you have already earned at least $20, or 20 AirMiles, or 250 Aeroplan Miles.
There's a number of cash out options that you can choose from.
However, the processing of payments (especially through check) takes too long.
For example, if you prefer to get paid through check, then you'll have to wait around 4-5 weeks before you can receive your money.
Ugly Truths About Legerweb
#1 It is Tough to Qualify for Surveys
Even if you are able to receive few survey offers, there's a possibility that you'll get kicked out while completing them.
Surveys require a very specific demographic.
It is the reason why some people aren't getting any survey offer at all, while other members are having a hard time to qualify for them.
Aside from that, the competition in the platform is high!
Most of the surveys expire quickly because panel members are always looking for a survey opportunity to pop out...
#2 No Surveys Available After the First Cash Out?!
I've seen a number of members who had the same pattern of experience...
They were happy at first, because they were able to cash out for the first time.
But after that, Legerweb did not give them any survey opportunity.
I'm not trying to scare you, but, there is a possibility that this issue might also happen to you.
#3 The Cash Out Threshold is Too High!
As I have mentioned above, the cash out threshold is $20.
Let's think about it...
The number of survey offers that you can get depends on your demographics.
Aside from that, surveys require a very specific group of people to participate in the studies, so you are not going to qualify for them all.
What if you qualify and you are able to complete a survey?
You'll only get paid around $0.25 to $1.
Considering these factors, you might have a hard time reaching the $20 cash out threshold.
It is the reason why most of the members found themselves almost impossible to cash out.
Actually, you'll get a better chance of cashing with PrizeRebel.
The minimum threshold is $5 only, and it also offers a lot of opportunities to earn money.
You can get started here if you want.
#4 The Payment Takes Too Long!
If you prefer to get paid through check, then you'll have to wait around 4-5 weeks before you can receive you money.
That's just too long!
If you are in need of quick cash, then this payment option isn't something to lean on.
#5 You Might Not Get Paid!
Most of the members really got paid.
However, in some occasions, some of them have failed to get what they have worked for.
Let's take a look at Justin. He was very sure that his referrals have completed their accounts and successfully answered their first survey.
But, Legerweb has refused to pay him...
And here's Sue, who never received a check after chasing out...
It doesn't happen too often though, but it is still alarming to know that some members did not get paid.
#6 Low Income Potential!
Legerweb claims that they have paid more than $20,000,000 since they have started in 2004.
At the same time, the platform says that they have 400,000 active members in the Canada.
Those who have left the platform and members from the United States aren't yet included in that number.
But still, let's do the math...
20,681,868 / 400,000 = 51.70467
That's only an average of $51.7 reward for each member!
And take note, the inactive and American members are excluded there.
It only shows that the income potential with this platform is really low.
Should You Join Legerweb?
Legerweb is a legitimate platform.
In fact, some members are happy about their earnings, and they really got paid.
But as I have discussed above, you won't get enough survey opportunities.
And if you are able to receive a few survey offers, you might still have a hard time qualifying for them as surveys require a very specific demographic.
Due to this reason, you might need to complete surveys for a couple of months to reach the $20 cash out threshold.
Given that Legerweb's main focus is survey, I'm afraid that you'll never earn enough money to fill your pocket with extra cash.
So let me be honest, I don't recommend Legerweb.
My Sincere Advice to You
For me, time and effort is really important.
That's why, if you want to earn money using your spare time, I would go against joining Legerweb.
I recommend that you join PrizeRebel instead.
Throughout my experience trying a lot of survey site and Get Paid To (GPT) platforms, PrizeRebel is the best one that I have seen so far.
Because it is available worldwide, the cash out threshold is only $5, and it offers a lot of opportunity.
So if you are interested, then you can get started here.
However, like with other GPT sites, you won't earn a substantial amount of money from PrizeRebel.
If you want to earn a full-time income online, then GPT sites and survey platforms are not the right way for you. I'd highly suggest that you start using this program instead.
This is the program that is responsible for thousands of online success stories. Here's my humble success story with the program if you are interested. I hope that you can benefit from it too.
