How I Fired My Boss and Still Earn a Full-Time Income. Here’s How You Can Too!

Goodlife USA Scam? Is it really?

To answer the most important question first…

Goodlife USA is NOT a scam!

It’s a legitimate Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company. There’s no indication that Goodlife USA will steal your money or outright lie to you about what they’re offering.

With that being said, the Goodlife USA business opportunity is definitely not for everyone.

Before you join Goodlife USA as an Independent Business Owner (IBO), I suggest that you read this article “Should I join an MLM Company“.

This article will help you decide if Goodlife USA is the right business opportunity for you.

Honestly, most Independent Business Owners (IBOs) in Goodlife USA struggles to make enough money to justify their initial outlay.

This doesn’t mean that Goodlife USA is a scam, but it does mean that you need to be careful.

If you’re considering enrolling in the Goodlife USA business opportunity…

It’s important to understand how it works and what type of people are likely going to succeed with it.

What is Goodlife USA?

Goodlife USA is a ‘travel and lifestyle’ club, that operates in the network marketing industry.

Companies like World Ventures, Evolution Travel, Paycation Travel, operates in the same fashion and are direct competitors of Goodlife USA.

The company offers discount on a variety of products and services, many of them related to vacations and traveling.

In addition to acting as a discount club, Goodlife USA offers a MLM business opportunity.

The company was founded in 2016 by Mark Seyforth and Edward Dovner.

Seyforth has had experience with previous MLM-structured businesses, and seems to bring the most past track record of the executive team.

One of the flashiest and most distinctive aspects of Goodlife USA is the free $200 VIP Club Card.

IBOs pass out the VIP Club card to people unaffiliated with the company to grant discounts on hotel purchases.

This acts as marketing for the company.

Both in getting its name out there and displaying some of the benefits of the discount club program.

If you are looking for discounts beyond the VIP Card’s hotel savings, upi’ll need to upgrade to the Platinum membership.

We will discuss the Platinum membership in more detail below.

Goodlife USA Review – What’s in the Membership

The $200 Goodlife USA VIP Club Card

There’s absolutely no downside or risk to using one of these cards.

And, you can potentially find savings above and beyond rates you might find on hotel booking sites like expedia.com.

Registering the card doesn’t require credit card information.

And, it allows you to access the Goodlife USA network to find cheaper hotel deals.

You’re not guaranteed to find a better deal on a hotel in any area for any date, but it’s definitely possible, and the savings can run anywhere from single digits to $50.

You can save up to $200 cumulative savings per card.

And, the person who issued that card gets a 50% commission on the savings for each use.

If someone gives you one of these cards, feel free to use it with no worry.

The Goodlife USA Membership Packages

Goodlife USA promises more discounts and accommodation for people who sign up as members.

In the past, there are 3 tiers of membership:

  • Silver ($11.95 permonth)
  • Gold ($39.95 per month + $99 signup fee)
  • Platinum ($59.95 per month +$199 signup fee)

Now, there are only 2 membership packages to choose from:

  • Starter
    • One-time Setup Fee: $79
    • Monthly Business Maintenance Fee: $9.95 per month
  • Platinum
    • One-time Setup Fee: $379
    • Monthly Subscription Fee: $49.95
    • Monthly Business Maintenance Fee: $9.95 per month

The discounts for members extend beyond hotels, ranging from flights to rental cars to cruises, as well as retail items, dining, sports and other entertainment options.

While Goodlife USA promotes these discounts as easily making up for the cost of ownership, the truth is that this very much depends on the lifestyle you lead.

If you frequently travel and avail yourself of travel-related entertainment, it’s possible that you could recoup your membership fees and save money due to the discounts.

However, if you travel only once or twice a year, it’s very unlikely that you’ll be able to justify your membership fees.

So, if you are really interested in joining Goodlife USA as an IBO, and make a living from the business, then it makes perfect sense to join as a Platinum member.

However, before you join this opportunity…

I’d advice that you to ask yourself this set of questions to know if MLM is suitable for you.

If in fact that you are the right caliber for the Goodlife USA opportunity, then I highly recommend that you get some quality Network Marketing Training here.

The Goodlife USA Platinum Membership – How Members Earn?

The Multilevel Marketing (MLM) component of Goodlife USA business opportunity is largely centered around the idea of becoming an Independent Business Owner within the Goodlife USA structure.

For a higher monthly membership fee, IBOs are able to make money based on people they’ve recruiting using Goodlife USA services.

This is very similar to most MLM structures: You recruit people below you within the structure.

You are then entitled to a small percentage of the value of cost of services these people use within Goodlife USA.

You are also entitled to a percentage of the value generated by people recruited by the people you recruited directly.

In theory, you could build up a network of first-order recruits and a chain of indirect recruits kicking money up the chain to you at no additional personal effort.

When it comes to being an IBO, the odds will be stacked against you succeeding unless you fit a very specific profile.

You’ll be paying for Platinum Membership plus an IBO maintenance fee of $9.95 per month, so at a minimum you’ll need to be generating around $90 per month in combined savings and income from your recruitment network to justify the cost.

Are you suitable for this opportunity?

If you travel frequently and have a robust network of friends, family and acquaintances who you can convince to sign up for Goodlife USA and use the services with regularity, you may be able to make enough money to justify the membership fees and time spent recruiting.

However, if you’re not exceedingly confident in your ability to recruit successfully and you don’t live a lifestyle that supports a great deal of travel and vacation-related activities, Goodlife USA is likely to end up a money-loser for you.

Goodlife USA positions their service in such a way that it seems trivially easy to make your money back in savings and down-stream income, but the reality is that once you break down the numbers it requires significant usage by either yourself or your recruitment network to produce real value for you.

Common Problems with Goodlife USA

There are a number of reasons a person might struggle trying to make money using Goodlife USA. Here are some of the more common pitfalls:

Not Living a Travel-Based Lifestyle

If you aren’t already living a lifestyle in which you travel frequently, you’re going to encounter a number of problems in succeeding with Goodlife USA.

  • You won’t be able to take advantage of personal discounts on hotels, flights, rental cars and other travel-related products and services, putting the burden on your network and recruitment to recoup your monthly fees;
  • You will find it difficult to project the lifestyle and speak with authentic knowledge when recruiting, making it difficult to build a robust network.

If you’re interested in trying to work a MLM-style program but travel isn’t a focal point in your life, you’re probably better off picking a different MLM business opportunity.

Lack of Familiarity and Commitment to MLM Style Networking

Having success with an MLM style program requires knowledge and tenacity, as well as a strong social network and the ability to build, maintain and grow one.

Your financial success comes directly from the ability to recruit the right people, and that’s not easy to do.

Goodlife USA, like many network-based businesses, will instruct you to begin within your family and friends, and this can work for some people.

If you’re someone who happens to have a large family or friend group who travels frequently and you’re convinced that you can persuade them that Goodlife USA is right for them, this might be fertile ground for recruitment.

But if your friends and family aren’t in that demographic, trying to force things is likely to produce only strained relations and no business success.

For a majority of people, it’s going to be necessary to expand beyond friends and family to grow a robust Goodlife USA network, and that takes hard work and savvy, which often times needs to be gained by experience.

That’s why I highly recommend Goodlife USA IBO’s to learn how to find prospects online, because the possibilities is endless.

Lack of Attention to Detail

The fine print and details involved in Goodlife USA go far beyond the scope of this Goodlife USA review.

There are multiple tiers of IBO membership, each of which has a different fee structure and varying network payout options.

There are various ways to make money down-network, such as a Fast Start option.

An IBO can receive bonuses based on advancing in ranks due to sales volume.

It’s possible to work the system to your advantage, but to do so you’ll need commitment to wading in and reading through all the details of how the Goodlife USA system works.

It requires a good deal of attention to detail and a willingness to sort through the numbers. Not everyone has the ability or willingness to do that.

To become successful at Goodlife USA, you’ll need both the sales and marketing ability to recruit and the head for numbers and attention to detail to use the system to your best advantage.

If you think that fits you, Goodlife USA might be for you.

If you’re looking for a simple and hassle-free way to make money while vacationing and travelling, you might be setting yourself up for disappointment.
