So, a friend or a family member has handed you some samples of Atomy products, and have briefly talked to you about this “Amazing” business opportunity.
You are probably intrigued by the information you’ve received, and that’s why you’ve landed on this Atomy review.
I am so glad that you are here because I will be sharing deep insights of this business opportunity…
And, I hope that the stuff that I share will help you make an informed decision.
Is Atomy a Scam?
It sounds too good to be true…
Sales Reps from Atomy are able to earn a full-time income just by promoting the products of Atomy.
Which makes you wonder if Atomy is a scam.
Let me address the elephant in the room by saying that Atomy is not a scam.
It is a legitimate Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Company that sells many different kinds of retail products.
The prices of their products are comparable to the products available on the market.
And, there are no reports of them failing to deliver on their product orders.
However, the business legitimacy is one thing, the suitability for the business opportunity is another.
Which is probably why you can see so many negative reviews1 by past Atomy sales representatives.
People who were “promised” good fortune after joining the company as a sales rep, didn’t get what they were promised…
They got sore about their failure, and started to claim that the Atomy is a scam.
The bottom line is, the Atomy business opportunity isn’t suitable for everyone.
And, we will be discussing in-depth below on the reasons why so many people fail in this business opportunity…
Atomy’s Business Opportunity
Let’s get to the meat of this review. This is the reason you are here, right?
Let’s watch this video about the Atomy’s compensation plan, and if you understand how it works, you can jump to the pitfalls of the business opportunity below…
PV and Initial Qualification
Atomy doesn’t require an up-front fee in order to sign up.
This sets Atomy apart from many other MLM style businesses.
However, Atomy requires its sales rep to do the sales volume of a certain amount in order to remain active.
Atomy uses ‘PV’, standing for Point Value, to gauge sales volume.
In effect, you must buy at least one Atomy product every 12 months to stay active. The minimum threshold is 10,000 PV. This translates to about $15.
Mastership Levels (Ranks) within Atomy
There are seven tiers of ranking which Atomy members can achieve. They are:
- Sales Master
- Diamond Master
- Sharon-Rose Master
- Star Master
- Royal Master
- Crown Master
- Imperial Master
Each of these rankings offers a number of increasing benefits.
These range from higher commission percentages to immediate promotion bonuses.
To put it simply, the way to ascend the ranks within Atomy is to generate greater sales volume.
But, greater sales volume can’t be simply achieved by just one sales rep (which is you), you need help…
And, that’s where you start recruiting other sales reps to build your organization.
How Atomy Works?
Atomy uses what’s called a binary structure.
What this means is that you at the top of a chain have two sales reps below you.
Those two sales reps can have two sales reps below them. And so on down the line.
In order to achieve the higher ranks within Atomy, you must create two binary legs.
One is called “Larger Point Leg” and the other is called “Smaller Point Leg”.
Larger Point Leg simply means the sales team in your organization that generates a higher volume of sales.
Atomy pays you commission based on the Smaller Point Leg.
Of course, the perfect scenario is to have both “Legs” on equal level, but we know that it is simply impossible.
So, picking the right sales reps in your organization is super important towards your success with Atomy.
Problems and Pitfalls with Atomy
The sad truth is that most people who attempted the Atomy business opportunity will fail.
This isn’t necessarily an indictment of Atomy.
It’s just the nature of the beast when it comes to sales-based MLM opportunities.
It’s possible to make money and have success. But most people don’t have the tools or the disposition to make it work.
Here are several reasons why people fail with Atomy…
1. Lack of Training and Support
One critique of Atomy is that their training material is somewhat lacking.
In order to find success in any kind of sales based business, training and coaching is a must.
Unfortunately, the responsibility of the training, support and guidance, is handed down to the sponsors (the person recruiting you, or simply you, if you are starting to recruit other sales reps).
Yes, there is some group training, but those are not enough to help sales reps become successful.
It requires someone who is successful to personally coach others to do the same.
So, this leads to a situation where “the blind leading the blind”. In other words, unsuccessful people coaching other unsuccessful people.
You know how this will pan out, right?
That’s why, if you ever want to have a chance of success in Atomy, you need to have proper training and coaching.
2. Failure to Generate Consistent Leads
This is probably the biggest challenge for all Atomy sales reps.
The stereotypical route to success with MLM style opportunities is selling to friends and family.
The idea is that you can generate enough sales to be successful within your social network.
Unfortunately, this is not the way things work. If you’re lucky, your friends and family might give you a nice little boost starting out.
But very quickly, you will exhaust your personal network.
To reach the higher Mastership levels of Atomy, you’ll need to generate significant sales volume consistently.
You may think that the “unique website – the online mall” that Atomy provides you will help you drive some form of online sales.
But, the fact is “the Online Mall” isn’t going to drive sales on its own.
Websites like this aren’t indexed by search engines. As a result, people won’t just stumble upon your site and buy. The website is just there to facilitate with your sales process.
So, without a way to generate an endless stream of leads, it’s almost impossible to succeed over the long term.
This is the one hurdle that the majority of the sales reps fail in, and if you manage to overcome it, the opportunity for you is endless.
3. Lack of Salesmanship
Let’s face it: Sales is a tough business.
A few lucky people are born salespeople.
For the rest of us, sales is something that takes practice, experience and the right mindset.
Many people want the lucrative rewards that sales can offer. But not everyone is suited to be in the sales environment.
Being a good salesperson requires a lot of characteristics and attributes.
- Willingness to put yourself out there and risk failure;
- A belief in your products and the ability to share that belief with others;
- Mastery of the details of the products you sell and the ability to demonstrate that expertise;
- An ability to communicate and connect with your customers.
If you have all those attributes, sales is for you.
The good news is that you can develop into a good salesperson. If you have the willingness to learn and the temperament, it’s definitely possible.
However, not everyone is cut out for sales.
I believe at this point you already know if you are suitable for this business opportunity.
So, I’d recommend that you check out this program if you think that the Atomy business opportunity is not for you.
4. Lack of Determination and Willpower
Making an MLM style business work means fighting through adversity.
Especially at the beginning, not everything is likely to go well. You will struggle. You will have bad days. Sometimes it will seem like nothing is going right.
To succeed, you’ll have to push through the dark times.
Many people want to make money with opportunities like these.
But lack the determination to push through and the work ethic to keep grinding. If you know you’re able to apply that kind of effort, you’re ahead of the game compared to most people.
What is Atomy?
If you already know… Then, you can skip to this section.
Atomy is a Korean-based company that has made inroads in the U.S.A., Singapore and several other countries over the past decade.
The company sells everything from food to beauty products to health supplements, and it also offers an Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) style business opportunity.
In order to purchase any products from Atomy, you must first join as a member of Atomy, through a sales representative.
Which means that the products are sold exclusively through an Atomy sales representative…
This is a good thing for sales representatives considering there are many MLM companies that place their products in the supermarkets.
Thereby creating unnecessary competition against its own sales reps.
Atomy was founded in South Korea by a businessman named Han-Gill Park.
Unfortunately, not much information is available about Park.
And, his background within the world of MLMs is unknown.
With that being said, there aren’t any negative information about him or past scandals.
Which is another plus point for this company.
The Atomy Products
Atomy’s product lines can be broken out into the following categories:
- Health care
- Personal Care
- Living and Food
In the category of Beauty and Personal Care, you can compare Atomy vs Amway.
In some respects, they’re similar. But Atomy’s focus is very much on dietary supplements and natural remedies.
Atomy emphasizes that their products help the body get rid of toxins, and tout a number of health benefits.
It’s important to note that most of the claims Atomy makes about their health care products aren’t clinically verified.
Atomy’s health care and personal care items use certain herbal extracts that you and I know are beneficial to our bodies.
However, the claims that Atomy makes aren’t backed up by rigorous data.
So, what does this means…
It is a very personal thing.
The Atomy products may work you, but it may not work for others.
This is the first point to take away: Before getting deeply involved in Atomy, try it yourself. If you love it, then consider continuing.
But, if the products don’t do much for you, Atomy isn’t likely to be a good opportunity.
The same goes for the makeup, coffee and other food items, and soaps and shampoos.
Some people will love them. Others will prefer other brands.
So, the first step to becoming a sales rep for Atomy is to personally experience the products.
You can’t expect others to believe you, if you don’t believe in the products yourself, right? It’s only common sense…
My Sincere Advice to You
To be successful with the Atomy business opportunity, it takes more than just your will and determination.
Like I’ve mentioned above, these are the common pitfalls of this opportunity…
And, you have to overcome them in order to be truly successful…

- Master the salesmanship
- Be motivated and determined throughout this journey
Luckily, the first 3 hurdles can be overcome with the right training and support…
