Before you decide to jump into the business opportunity and become a distributor for Perfectly Posh, you need to read this.
I am sure the person, most likely a friend or someone on the internet, has introduced you to this company, and you are attracted to its nicely packed products.
If you have the thought of joining this business opportunity, good, because I am going to share with you everything you need to know (including the stuff that your introducer or upline will never share with you) in order for you to make an informed decision.
When assessing this opportunity, you have to (1) understand the unique selling point of the products, (2) whether the products solve the problems of its users, and (3) the demand for its products.
But, before we get into that, let us first understand that Perfectly Posh is all about.
What exactly is Perfectly Posh?
The main target customers of Perfectly Posh are women who want to pamper and empower themselves.
It creates an opportunity for women to share their love of Perfectly Posh’s products and make money from it through its Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) compensation plan.
If you do not know what a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Company is, you can read this article.
Founded in October 2011 by Ann Dalton and Andrew Mcbride, the company operates and sells its products only in the U.S..
Patriotic U.S. citizens would probably love this company because all of its products are produced locally.
It is said that the products are produced only with the finest natural ingredients, but correct me if I am wrong, aren’t all of the cosmetic companies claiming that their products are produced with the finest natural ingredients?
What makes Perfectly Posh so special?
The entire Perfectly Posh’s product line caters to every cosmetic needs of a person, from hair care, to skin care, and to all the way down to your feet.
The plus point of this company is its nicely designed packaging for all of its products.
I’ve shown the pictures of the products to my wife, and she absolutely loves the design.
However, the question is, are its products any good? What are the things that women look for when buying cosmetics?
Let’s dig further…
Are the Perfectly Posh products any good?
There’s a lot of mixed reviews on the products of the company, some people claim that the products of the company is the best that they’ve ever tried, and some hated the products.
But, the most alarming negative review I’ve seen is the burning sensation after the use of its skin care products (especially the face cream and mask).
You can read all the consumer reviews on Perfectly Posh here.
To be fair, its products are not suitable for all. Each individual has different skin types, some individuals have a more sensitive skin type than others.
The only way to determine if the products are suitable for you is if you try the products yourself.
Is the Perfectly Posh Business Opportunity Worth it?
Before you even think of joining the business opportunity, wouldn’t it make sense for you to try the products for at least a month?
To be successful in the Perfectly Posh business, you have to live and breathe the products.
Successful distributors will share the products and the business opportunity to everyone they meet.
So, if you are not convinced that the products work, how are you going to convince others?
If you’ve decided to join the business opportunity, you need to know that in the MLM industry, an industry that Perfectly Posh is in, more than 95% of its distributors fail in the business.
The reasons for failure are simple:
- Lack of proper training and guidance
- Lack of self-discipline and self-motivation
- Lack of Leads
- Wrong Mentality
- The demand of the products
The only thing that is different about this company from the other MLM companies is that it provides online training on a regular basis to its distributors through its “Prep Academy”.
The Prep Academy guarantees the consistency of the knowledge that is passed down to its new members. To be honest, it is quite rare in the MLM industry to have a proper training program.
Many MLM companies expect you to sell on the very first day of your joining.
Well, with all the training and knowledge that you will be getting, it still doesn’t guarantee your success.
The fundamental driver of the success of any MLM company lies with its product lines.
In my opinion, Perfectly Posh is situated in a highly competitive market, and its products does not have the unique appeal that will allow them to be a prominent player in the cosmetics industry.
On top of competing with other MLM companies in the same industry like Amway and Forever Living, they are competing with other trendy Korean cosmetic brands that are currently sold in the U.S. like Nature Republic, Innisfree, Sulwhasoo, as well as a local cosmetic giant like L’oreal Paris.
Honestly, if you want to be a Perfectly Posh Consultant, you must be ready to embrace the resistance from the consumers.
The fact is that many Korean Cosmetic products are so popular in the U.S. that it is hard to convince locals to accept a locally grown brand.
Ready to be a Perfectly Posh Consultant? Here’s what you need to know about the opportunity…
Firstly, you will need to pay $99 to join the business opportunity where you will receive a “Starter Kit”, and the complimentary business training.
The company pays you every Wednesday through its compensation plan:
There is a total of 9 ranks in the compensation plan, and you will start at the rank of Protege.
To advance to the rank of Pink, you need to personally sell or purchase a total of $1,000 worth of Perfectly Posh products (in other words, 1,000 PV (Personal Volume)).
This 1,000 PV is the safety net as you will not fall back to the rank of Protege if you do not hit the sales target in any month.
Once you have reached the rank of Pink and above, your commission rate for each of the products you’ve personally sold is 25%.
To get to the next rank of Pink Plus 1, you need to have a monthly 500 PV, plus you have personally recruited 1 Qualified consultant who has 200 PV, and a 2,000 CV (Company Volume – means the total sales made by you and whoever that is in your organisation).
The rank of Pink Plus 1 will entitle you to a bonus commission of 1% of your personal sales volume (PV), and a bonus commission of from your each of the individuals in your organisation, depending on their rank.
You will receive a 2% bonus commission from each individual’s PV under your organisation who are in the rank of Protege. And, 1% bonus commission of each individual’s PV who are in the rank of Pink and Pink Plus 1.
I believe if you refer to the Compensation Plan above, you would understand how it works now. If not, please feel free to ask me by leaving a comment below.
You can also refer to the Rank advancement requirement below to determine how you can move up the ranks.
Note that your rank is calculated on a monthly basis, which means that if you didn’t not perform well in a particular month, you will risk losing a lot of your commissions.
My Sincere Advice to You
In general, Perfectly Posh is not a scam, but it doesn’t mean that you are suitable to be in the business.
Before you join Perfectly Posh as a consultant, I suggest that you try its range of products for at least a month to see if they work for you.
The same product may have different results on different people.
So, the first step is to convince yourself that the product works, before you can convince others.
On top of that, you must be ready to face lots of rejections. Part of being in Perfectly Posh business is to promote and sell its products, and to recruit others to the business opportunity.
Selling a product that does not have a unique appeal in the cosmetics industry is hard enough, and selling a dream (the business opportunity) is even tougher.
Brace yourself if you want to be successful in this business.
