There’s new opportunity making the rounds, one that’s a little bit different than the standard multi-level marketing opportunities.

game-loot-network-gamesThis one, called Game Loot Network, is all about the mobile gaming industry. I decided to take a look at this opportunity and see if it’s worth your time.

In this Game Loot Network review, we’ll examine the company and the business opportunity and you can decide if it’s the right fit for you.

In a nutshell, Game Loot Network is a platform where you can interact with other gamers, earn rewards, and participate in the affiliate program. The affiliate program is based on a multi-level marketing system where you earn cash for making sales and recruiting new members.

To clarify, this platform is built for mobile-gamers. People who like to try out new games on their phones, beat high scores, and compete with other members. It’s definitely an interesting concept.

The introduction video uses the most popular mobile phone games as examples of the power of the industry; such as Candy Crush, Angry Birds, and Clash of Clans. The problem is none of these games are sponsored by Game Loot Network but they’re rather examples of successful apps.

Basically, the company makes games and uploads them to the Fun Zone. The members play the games and get paid to find even more players. There’s also an in-platform currency we’ll discuss later on in this article.

I wasn’t able to find any solid information about the people who created this company; the website doesn’t even have an about page. I thought that is a little suspicious.

Let’s take a further look.

Game Look Network Scam Red-Flags:

The Game Loot Network opportunity is much like most multi-level marketing opportunities, advertised as an escape to the life you always desired with untold riches. I didn’t like the hype in the sales video, but at least it wasn’t as extreme as some of the other scams we reviewed.

game-loot-networkOne of the most alarming red-flags is the lack of an about page. Why a company would choose not to include one is beyond me. Every business, even small-time bloggers, should have an about page that explains at least the basics of the business and who is behind it.

Is Lance Baker the founder of Game Loot Network? Who knows?

Game Loot Network is not very transparent. We don’t know who created it. Even if the company added a simple about page, it would be better than none.

Another red-flag is the need to enter your cell phone number to download the apps. Even if you want to play the app and take it out for a test run, a cell phone number is required.

This is a little strange because most apps on the Google Play and Apple Store don’t require you to enter your cell phone number. You should be able to download it directly from the app store.

When you add your number, a text code is sent to your phone with a link to the download page. I can only imagine what sort of telemarketing lists my phone number ended up on. I don’t like how you need to enter your phone number just to download an app – it should just be in the app store.

The company also says it’s powered by a system called Fun TM. I couldn’t find any information about this system online. I doubt it’s a real – patented – system. Likely a random name the company slapped onto their products to make it sound more official.

The Game Loot Products and Compensation System:

Game Loot’s products come in the form of tokens, the games are free.

These tokens are only available to affiliates and you can use them to unlock certain features within the Fun Zone.

The Fun Zone is basically an area where you can play games and compete with other members for high scores. It’s free to access but to unlock additional features, such as challenges, tokens are required.

So how do you earn cash?

There are several ways to earn cash with Game Loot.

First, we need to understand the ranks.

There are 14 affiliate levels for this system.

Most multi-level marketing companies use this exact same structure.

The first three levels are the most important; Gamer, Premium Gamer, and Game Ambassador.

You can only earn commissions on the third level.

To qualify, a subscription to The Marketing Arcade is required. This costs $24.99/month. You also need to earn $100 worth of Personal Volume each month. You earn Personal Volume when your referrals purchase a product or when you purchase a product with your account.

Here’s a link to the fully detailed compensation plan on their website: here

There are also quite a few bonuses, one of the ways to earn money with the business. This is kind of like passive income, at least that’s what the company wants you to think.

The most popular bonus, Daily Commissions, is a percent of your team’s earnings within a certain time period. You can qualify for this bonus after you recruit at least three Game Ambassadors under you.

You’ll also earn a bonus when someone under you moves up a rank. This is called Level Up Bonus. The idea is to have a bunch of people under you so you can sit back and earn from their sales without lifting a finger. Unfortunately, that’s literally the definition of a pyramid scheme.

Granted, Game Loot is a new company and I’m sure they have a lot of bugs and kinks to work out. I noticed a few obvious spelling mistakes in their official compensation plan files. I don’t think a professional company would let those spelling mistakes through.

You’ll also need three active Game Ambassadors under your account at all times or your account will be disabled.

On the fourth level, Ruby 1, members will be able to earn Daily Commission Bonuses. But the bonus is $5/day instead of a percentage of what your team earns. This amount increases as you move up the ranks.

Who Is Game Loot For?

I like the original idea of Game Loot; create a fun area where members can compete against in each other in various mobile-games.

But the attached affiliate system is a little suspicious. It might be possible to earn cash with them but I don’t expect members earn a lot.

Nevertheless, Game Loot can be fun for people who like competitive mobile-games. I have to admit that their stock of games is a little short, and none of them captured my interest. Still, I’m sure some people will find them fun.

So Game Loot is for the person who wants to have some fun on his fun while maybe earning some extra cash on the side too. Just remember, most people can just go and download games from the app store, there’s no need to use another system. There are better games on the official app stores and compete with your friends on there too.

Still, I admit, Game Loot is one of the more interesting multi-level marketing systems I came across. It’s still fairly new and chances are they’ll work out the issues soon enough.

My Sincere Advice to You

Chances are you’re reading this article because you want to make money online but you’re not sure if Game Loot Network is right for you.

If you are in Game Loot Network just to have some fun, that’s great, but if you are serious about making money with it, you have to consider it thoroughly.

Like I’ve said, it is a rather interesting MLM concept, but when it boils down to the demand of the product.

Most people I know of, will not bother about signing up to the network just to play some competitive games.

There are so many free game apps available, why pay a monthly fee for it, right?

The only reason for someone to pay for these games is the business opportunity it offers. Do you think you will be able to find at least 3 like-minded individuals who would join the network as Game Ambassadors?

So, if Game Loot Network is not the avenue for online income, then what is?

Believe it or not, there are a lot of different ways to make cash online.
