What is Facebook Fortune?

Facebook Fortune, being the front capture page of Internet Millionaire Training System and Precision Webtools, is a downright scam and I hope that you haven’t been scammed by it. Normally I would not judge a program harshly but for Facebook Fortune, because the program is right out to cheat people, I couldn’t help but to label it as a total scam.

Facebook Fortune have been gaining popularity recently posing itself as an opportunity for people who are seeking to work from home. Unfortunately, if you fell for the Facebook Fortune’s marketing tricks, you would have suffered a loss of a few thousand dollars. It all starts with a low cost of $1.97 to join its trial membership and once you are in their hooks, they start to rip your pockets apart to fill theirs.

It is sad to see so many people falling for those marketing tricks so I have to pre-warn you of all the similar marketing tricks in all of these scams. You must note that Facebook Fortune is not the only one that uses those marketing tricks, there are similar programs that I have reviewed last year like Work at Home University, Web Fortune Master, and many more.

I have a hunch that these operations are operated by the corporations under the same helm. I will give reasons for my intuition below.

Update as of 21 February 2015: These scams keep changing, one day it is promoting Internet Millionaire Training System and Precision Webtools, the next day it is promoting Site Hosting Source (sitehostingsource.com), a web hosting company which promises to make you money if you follow their system.

I quote from the site hosting source’s capture page “Because we want you to help us promote our company, we will give you a done-for-you website for FREE”. It promises you that right after you sign up, they will give you a system that will generate money for you automatically. This is a very old trick to get you to sign up the web-hosting service, many programs uses this trick like Miley’s Money Method.

So is the website you will be receiving really FREE? Let us check out this screenshot below:

Firstly, you have to read between the lines, website is free but web hosting is not. It cost $167 for 1 year worth of the web-hosting service. To be honest. there are much cheaper and legitimate web hosting service out there on the internet. A simple note to you is that you should never trust a web hosting company which promises to make you money. They don’t work.

Seeing the rate of change on the programs that Facebook Fortune promotes (from Internet Millionaire Training System to Site Hosting Source), I wouldn’t be surprise if the they change it again in the next few days. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO SIGN UP TO INTERNET MILLIONAIRE TRAINING SYSTEM? – I am not sure about this either.

1st Red Flag: “As Seen on” Strategy

There are so many similarities between Facebook Fortune, Work at Home University, Web Fortune Master, and now there are even more similar companies with different names like Home Job Institute, Work at Home Institute, Careers at Home University and many more to be named. For the sake of easy reference, I will classify all these scams as “Bogus Opportunities”. Beware of work from home opportunities that has this:

These Bogus Opportunities uses the “As seen on” strategy to lure unwary consumers. In a novice consumer’s point of view, the above picture might have been interpreted as a credibility of the product, however, they are never real. I will not blame the people who have fell for this trick, I blame it on the culprit who use this strategy to trick people.

2nd Red Flag: Generic introduction video of “work from home opportunity”

Do any of the following screenshots look familiar to you? These are the generic news reports on work from home opportunities that entices people to quit their jobs and seek work from home. They are frequently used by these Bogus Opportunities:

These videos from newsrooms are videos that introduces people to work from home ,however, it never mention any of the Bogus Opportunities’ names. Now even big newsrooms are recommending people to work from home, no wonder these Bogus Opportunities dares to put the “as seen on” pictures on their site.

You do not know what you are buying until you bought it

The lesser you know what you are buying into, the better for them because you would not have joined the Facebook Fortune if you have known what you are buying into.

Worst of all, many people have joined Facebook Fortune but do not know how to cancel the membership. The membership you are buying into cost $1.97 upfront for the 7 day introductory trial and thereafter you will be charged $80 per month if you remain as an active member (This have changed since the update as mentioned above ~ It’s $167 now). Many people have troubles looking for the link/email/phone number to cancel the membership.

You have to look carefully into the terms and condition at the bottom of the page prior to signing up with Facebook Fortune.

Refund: For people who have signed up for Internet Millionaire Training System

I had experience with this kind of products before and it wasn’t pleasant. Try giving a call to the Internet Millionaire System’ Customer Care at +44-808-168-3922 and you will be badgered by lots of questions as to why you want to cancel the membership and at worst they try to upsell more products to you.

Remember, these people whom you are going to speak to are professional salesperson, they try to tackle your issues and provide an alternative “solution” for you. So please beware!!!

While some people are out-talk the customer service staff, some people are having trouble contacting them, especially during the trial period. Many people fell prey to the 7 day trial and tried contacting the customer support to cancel the membership but to no avail. At that point of time, there are only 2 options:

1. Continue to contact them till you get a response or;
2. Cancel your credit card where you will be charged.

Refund: For people who have signed up for Site Hosting Source

This web hosting company (Site Hosting Source) is really sneaky with their refund policy. You would have thought that if you do not like their service, you can cancel it within 30 days and get a full refund. Let’s check out the screenshot from the terms and conditions below:

To simplify what they are trying to say, you can’t get a full refund on the amount that you have paid, only partial of it. The only way to cancel your subscription with Site Hosting Source is by calling (877) 698-3222 or by emailing [email protected].

I do not need to even go deep into the program to point out that Facebook Fortune is a scam and I have already shown you evidence to you need to know in order to avoid this program. I really do hope you heed my advice.
