So, someone you know introduced you to ACN and claimed that you can make a lot of money with this company.
And, being prudent, you are looking for information if those claims are true.
I want to commend you for doing your research because most people will take the leap without knowing what they are getting into.
So, in this ACN review, I will share with you everything you need to know before joining ACN.

ACN, also known as ACN Inc, is a Multi-level Marketing (MLM) company in the telecommunications and energy industry.
ACN stands for “American Communications Network.”

Currently, ACN is the world’s largest direct seller of telecommunications and other essential services for homes and businesses.
The company managed to expand the reach of their services to 25 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific.

ACN has been in operating and providing its services since 1993. The company is based in the US state of North Carolina and was co-founded by four individuals

How Can You Make Money with ACN?
Basically, you can make money with ACN by promoting the company products or thru recruitment.
Direct Selling – You can earn 1%-10% in personal commissions for each ACN products and services sales.
Recruitment – You will be paid $10-$50 per new person that you recruit to join the company depending on your current rank.
You will also be paid a percentage for your direct referral’s total monthly bills (preferred customer) and total sales (if they decided to become an IBO too) that could amount to 100’s or 1000’s of dollars depending on how large your team is.

How to Become an ACN IBO?

What I Dislike About ACN?
#1 Expensive Startup Cost
ACN is one of the MLM companies that requires quite a hefty membership fee. The cost for you to become one of the ACN IBOs is $499, with a $149 annual renewal fee.
Another “optional” feature but is said to “give you everything you need to succeed with ACN” will cost you an additional $39.99 monthly fee – “Your Business Assistant.”
However, if this feature will indeed give you everything you need for success, why does the ACN management think it is optional?
Isn’t it the company’s responsibility to provide their members with the best chance of success?
Interesting enough
Why does ACN require another subscription fee for this? Shouldn’t it be included to the $500 you have to pay to become an IBO?
I cannot blame the people who claim that there is an ACN scam going on because the way I see it, instead of “helping” their members, it appears that ACN is trying to get as much money from you as they can.

#2 Low-Profit Margin
ACN’s products may be more customer-attractive than the slimming pills most MLM distributors are peddling. However, you cannot expect to earn a 6-figure income from them.
If you look closely at ACN’s compensation plan, you will realize that the real big bucks will come from recruiting people and building a massive network of active IBO’s.

#3 Various Service Complaints
Some people openly expressed how disappointing and terrible ACN services are. Services such as the Internet are said to be very slow and almost non-existent.
Worse, should you wish to cancel your subscriptions from any ACN services, you will incur a pricey cancellation fee.
I advise that before you join this company, do your own research in addition to this ACN review.
Although I did my best to make this review as comprehensive as possible but as I do not know when will you be able to read this, it’s wise to look for additional resources. Right?
#4 Recruitment Recruitment Recruitment
Because you cannot expect a full-time income by selling the ACN products and services alone, then you will have to resort to putting heavy emphasis on recruitment.
This is a gray area since the FTC clearly states that once your income heavily depends on recruitment instead of selling products, you are practicing a pyramiding scheme.
Regardless of how legit your company is.
#5 MLM Business Rarely Works Out
I have nothing against ACN, but I am not a fan of the MLM business model itself. I have been a network marketer and was involved with three different MLM companies for six years, and I will tell you…
More than 95% of people who join the MLM industry fails.
Is ACN a Scam?
Finally, to put your worries to rest, I guarantee that ACN is not a scam.
I do, however, have to point out that I do not recommend this business opportunity as the primary source of your income.
There are also obvious red flags about the company’s operations, and complaints are filed against their services.
But I also want to point out that the answer to this question depends on how you define a scam.
If a scam for you is paying money and not getting something in return, then again, ACN is not a scam because you will get something in return for your signup fee.
On the other hand, if a scam for you is being made to believe that you will earn money fast with ACN, then I might understand if you will think ACN is a scam.
Should You Join ACN?
The first thing you have to ask yourself is if you feel that the ACN services are worth your money. It only make sense, right? If you don’t genuinely like the services or you don’t use it yourself, how can you expect others to buy from you.
Now, if you genuinely like the ACN services, then, the next question to ask yourself is if you are passionate about promoting the services, or if you are comfortable in the sales environment.
Being in sales simply means having to stomach lots of rejection, and if you are fine with that, then you have your answer.
So, if you think ACN is the business for you, I would highly recommend that you learn this strategy so that you can avoid all the common pitfalls of network marketing, like lacking in new leads, or couldn’t find the right people into your business.
My Humble Advice
Before I end, allow me to share but one humble advice.
No matter what business opportunity you choose, make sure that it is something you are truly passionate about.
Whether you start with Affiliate Marketing, eCommerce, Online Trading, Paid Surveys or Network Marketing…
The first thing you should do is ascertain if that business opportunity is what you want to do in the long run.
Because when the things get rough and nothing seems to be going right, your passion and commitment for what you are doing are what will drive you to see it through to the end.
