A Walk-through of Google Sniper

google-sniper-uprankI have previously written a review on Google Sniper 1.0 and now I am here to review the updated version of it, Google Sniper 2.0. I stand firm on my decision that Google Sniper deserves a negative rating, however, I have pushed its rating up by 2, from 3 thumbs down to 1 thumb down.

The reason for me doing that was because the original Google Sniper program was a flop and now it have added some useful materials to the program that makes it almost legit. The reasons for Google Sniper still having a negative rating are because of its hyped video at its front, some outdated contents and its complicated pricing model which I have covered in my previous review.

Before I dive right in to Google Sniper 2.0 review, I would just like you to know that I am not those people who would give you a review without actually trying the product. I bought into Google Sniper 2.0 and literally spent hours going through each and every one of the training videos so that I can provide you with an in-depth review.

So with that being said, I guess you are now curious as to what the Google Sniper 2.0 system really is. One thing you need to know is that, Google Sniper System is not exactly a plug and play system that will generate instant money for you (like what it was advertised), and the “Sniper Sites” are basically wordpress sites with exact match keyword domain names.

(Warning: Not for beginners) Get Started with Google Sniper

Do Google Sniper course teach you anything? Yes, but…

Let me go through each part of Google Sniper with you. Below you will see a process map I’ve downloaded from the Google Sniper member’s area. At least after seeing this, you will get a pretty good idea of what Google Sniper is before you pay $47 and sign up blindly:

Google Sniper Course: Part One

Find the main keyword and a product to promote related to it and Register your domain

google-sniper-clickbankThe main component of Part One is basically to select a product from clickbank (a digital product marketplace) you want to sell with the help of cbengine.com and then research on low hanging fruit keyword (Keywords with low competition) that relates to the product you want to sell. This portion itself takes a long time, 90 mins and let me tell you why.

Google sniper itself do not provide any form of tools that makes your life easy, it teaches you the hard way to find a suitable keyword. It teaches you to use Google Keyword Tool which is now called “Google Keyword Planner”. Google Keyword Planner is not exactly a user friendly tool, there are a few steps you need to do in order to get accurate information.

First, you have to select the “Phrase” button as shown below. You cannot use “Broad” or “Exact” because you will not get accurate information.

Second, note that the “competition” column as shown below is not a gauge for the number of websites competing for the keyword, it shows you the competition for people who are paying Google to promote their sites on the particular keyword (Pay Per Click). Basically, that column is useless.

So with that being said, the second step is to select a keyword that meet the following criteria:

  • Keyword that is up trending (from the “local search trends” column)
  • Keyword that have between 2000 to 5000 monthly searches (from the “Global Monthly Searches” column) – right after George Brown gives you a guide (2000 to 5000) he when on to select a keyword that have 12000 searches and says it meets the criteria (it’s confusing)

Third, you will need to perform a “sniff test” by clicking on the selected keyword and add ” ” to the keyword as shown below. This way you can see how many competitors you have for the particular keyword. In the case below, the total competition is 85,500.

George Brown went on to tell you that 85,500 competition is too high (he is right on this one) and you should select a keyword which has lower than 20,000 competition (he is absolutely wrong on this). It is really difficult to compete with 20,000 websites for good rankings on Google, this is unless your website’s content is so unique and amazing the Google gives you credit for it.

A good low hanging fruit keyword should have less than 300 competitors, this way you have a better chance of survival on the internet. Although it is really difficult to find a keyword with such low competition in a highly competitive niche, you really have to be creative and redefine your keyword search and target a more specific niche.

The remaining of Part One

The feeling I got from Google Sniper is that the remaining portion of Part One is not at all important. Google Sniper do not seem to put strong focus on content creation. What you really need to know is that content creation is the nuts and bolts of online marketing.

It seems that part one of the Google Sniper course only cover content creation in mere 25 mins. I applaud George Brown that such an important topic like content creation can be taught within 25 mins. (Clap Sarcastically)

Google rank articles based on the quality and the readability of your contents. I personally feel that there should be an entire course focusing on building contents rather than just skimming through the gist of it.

Google Sniper Course: Part Two, Three and Four

You must note that although the structure of the Google Sniper program is pieced out nicely for you in the PDF, the video lessons in the Google Sniper Course do not follow step by step like what it is shown below. It is all jumbled up together with other videos and I would really suggest that you do not to follow the video courses as you will get lost.

The program flow as shown above is actually quite neat and easy to follow, but the video course do not assist you in any way to follow the program flow. Let me show you exactly what is in the original Google Sniper video course:

If I were a beginner with no experience whatsoever, I would definitely feel that Google Sniper 1.0 is giving me a lot of useful information. However, you must know that most of the contents in the video course series as shown above are outdated. My first advice to you is to skip the entire Google Sniper 1.0 video series.

Skipping the entire original Google Sniper course basically mean that this program is not for beginners. Beginners need to start their success journey on the right foot. Selecting a online marketing course is important and crucial. If you are a beginner with no experience at all, I would suggest that you stay away from Google Sniper.

The Google Sniper 2.0 – the reason for the better rating

My reviews up till now has been about the original Google Sniper 1.0 course. What I want to share with you now is the extension of the original Google Sniper course, Google Sniper 2.0. The reason why I feel Google Sniper deserve a better rating.

Right after Google introduced Google Panda (Google Search Engine Algorithm update), the original Google sniper course was useless. George Brown knew it and he quickly tagged team with another Internet marketer name Anthony to produce new video training series that tackles the problems and clarify doubts for existing Google Sniper members.

The video series course created by Anthony have many valuable information that any Internet Marketer may need. The picture below  shows you a summary of things you can expect to learn:

Google Sniper 2.0 focus a lot on backlinkings, you will understand what are “Do Follow Links” and what are “No Follow Links”, and Anthony will share with you where you can find blogs that have “Do Follow links”. Now I know it may be confusing for you if you are a beginner, however, as I said, this part of the program is not for you if you are totally new to Internet Marketing.

Beginner’s Area! Your online success starts here! Click here to unlock your full potential!

I would also like to clarify a doubt that have been on a lot of people’s mind. “Is Backlinking still a viable strategy?” Yes! It is at this moment, however, backlinking will lose its credibility in the future but not now. I have included a video below from Matt Cutts sharing with you on backlinkings and whether is it still a viable strategy.

For people who do not know who Matt Cutts is, he is Google’s software engineer since January 2000 and currently the head of Google’s Webspam team. So his words are as good as it is.

So with that being said, if you are an advanced Internet Marketer or have some knowledge on Internet Marketing, I would definitely recommend you to check Google Sniper 2.0 out here. There is really no harm trying out because the free trial is only one dollar and you get many good information.

Just a word of caution, you should not expect Google Sniper to provide you with good support. If you have questions or you want to clarify something with Google Sniper, you are on your own. I’ve tried the support and I haven’t gotten a response till now.

My bad login experience

Before you proceed on to join Google Sniper, I would first like to share with you my horrible login experience. This way you can avoid the same agony as I did and enjoy the benefits of the program. I am embarrassed to say that up till today I have not receive my username and password. It may be something wrong with my email. I have even tried contacting George Brown’s support team and I still have not gotten any response.

After your purchase of the trial, you will be hit with an upsell. Skip past that and you will get into the member’s area. BEWARE: once you log out of Google Sniper, you probably won’t be able to login again. When you try to login, you will be told that your email is not in their database.

I was so ready and excited to go through the course and now I am set back because I can’t log back into the member’s area.

I’ve tried many different ways to login but I won’t bore you with the details. Let me go straight to the point and tell you how you can login.

When you first purchase Google Sniper, you will receive an email receipt from Clickbank which looks like this.

Click on the “access your digital products” and you will go through the same upsell videos and all, just skip right pass them and you will be in the member’s area.

My advice to You

If you are a beginner and do not have any experience at all in Internet marketing, I would suggest that you stay away from Google Sniper 2.0. You will probably get more confused and lost. I would suggest that you check out my #1 online business course that is suitable for all beginners and advanced internet marketers. This is the place I learn how to make money online.

If you have already a blog and you are trying to get your articles ranked, feel free to join Google Sniper 2.0 as you can definitely get some valuable information.

As always, I welcome your feedback on Google Sniper 2.0. if you have anything about Google Sniper that you would like to share, please feel free to write a comment below and I will be more than happy to discuss it with you. if you find this review useful, you may want to share it with your friends and family by simply clicking on the social media buttons below.

My Secret to Online Sucess

  1. This is far from a scam i have made alot of money using this system, i also start a moving company with money i made from this system.

    1. Well as I said, I don’t find the information within it a scam but just the hype video and some other issues. You can definitely make money with the information provided in GS but I know that it is not a good place for beginners because some or many of the information are outdated.

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  2. Hey,

You know what, I’ve had a pretty similar experience to what you describe here.

I made my mind up to really develop a business on the web and subscribed to the google sniper course. I found the landing page glitchy so I ended up trying to leave and then got the $1 offer for 30 days access.

I did try to subscribe to the course but after 30 days, even though a payment was taken, my account got locked out. I tried submitting a ticket through the ‘support centre’. That was a joke. To begin with there’s nothing there, no FAQ’s no posts, no responses. After about a week I just went to clickbank and got a refund.

Fortunately I’d downloaded the manual (it’s pretty much detailed in this article) and I’d downloaded the videos so I’ve taken the essence of the Sniper course with me.

If I’d have got better customer service then I’d probably still be a subscriber but the support really let them down badly.

It does kind of work. I’ve got a niche page to the top of the SERP’s, but I can’t see it making a massive amount of money. It’s about targeting very specific keywords to rank in google, and there are loads of people chasing them now so the low competition niches are fast disappearing.

Sorry if you thought this might be the holy grail but it’s been raped already and there’s more thorough stuff out there.

It’s all a good learning curve though and you’ve got to remember that ‘George Brown’ probably was a furniture remover before he got pissed enough to try to make big bucks on the net. I’ve still got to make mine but and it will involve a bit of what I’ve learnt from Google Sniper but that alone is not going to deliver the payday I expected.

If you want an idea of where I went after my Sniper experience just check out jay the stoner on youtube. Again I’ve learnt a lot from him, and probably in a more honest and coherent way than from George Brown but I haven’t found that holy grail yet……

  3. I read yr write up i feel new google sniper is a useful program & its is organised . After going thru various sites and program it is step by syep and it is 4 beginner n tools for beginner intermediate and more…i got a few other sys out there that charge 3 k and teach short cut….it is not a scam …u r too harsh” scam alert “With the massive manual n extra training . i guess internet marketing there is lots of competition and so with reviews and int mktg. Thumbs up for you trying to get attention using scam alert…yr extensive review but yr angle of attack is all about scam i presume… is that we shud do to get attention. Internet mktg place can be super confusing. I heard wealthy affiliate is a resource place for ppl to share great ideas . Is it the same as warrior forum………….u like yr scam alert actuallt lol

    1. Hi Jane,

The only reason I still give Google Sniper a bad rating is because of the Introduction Video with poses itself as a “Get Rich Quick” scheme and also the many upsells within it. I am sure you are learn from Google Sniper as there are good information in there but the tools and support isn’t really great. Tools and Support is one of the most important factors to success for beginners which is why I do not recommend Google Sniper to beginners. I would rather recommend Wealthy Affiliate because it provides the best education and best support (getting answers within minutes).

Thanks for dropping by. I really appreciate it!

  4. hi jack

I am from India. Can I do this business from India.

    1. Yes! You can do it anywhere as long as you have internet access.

  6. BuyItNow Marketer says:

    Hey Jack,

Just read your review of Google Sniper. I do agree with you that GSniper is for the more internet savvy. However, being that it provides useful information and even some good ideas that could be implemented without using GSniper, I wouldn’t go as far as yelling out “SCAM ALERT”. I’ve had great success in using some of their traffic tactics. May I suggest that when rating the programs that you test and review, you can provide your readers with either and legit “SCAM ALERT” or give the program a rating of say 1 to 5, basing it off of the programs true ability to make money for all of its users. This would be useful if your going to call out SCAM ALERT but show up as someone who uses parts of the program.

    1. I will keep that into consideration but changing my rating system is quite impossible. However, I would like to add that I still label GS as scam because of the hyped video but I would like to thank you for your suggestion.

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  7. Hi Jack, your “#1 online business course” is not enabled for my country Nigerian. Please I am very much interested.

    1. Hi Amaks,

I will contact you through your email.

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  8. Rosalyn S. says:

It seems you give Google Sniper a bad review but you certainly don’t mind sharing your affiliate link to the GS video opportunity and making money off of it. Kind of shady don’t you think?…

    1. Hi Rosalyn,

Seems like you have not actually read the entire review, which is understandable. I’ve mentioned the reason why I approve of Google Sniper. In summary, my review says that the reasons for Google Sniper still having a negative rating are because of its hyped video at its front, some outdated contents and its complicated pricing model and technically it is not suitable for beginners, other than that for people like myself who have some experience may want to try Google Sniper out because there are lots of valuable information as well. All I did was provide insightful and honest information and it is up to the readers to decide whether to join GS or not. I don’t see anything shady here.

      Jack (BareNakedScam)

  9. it’s good i did some researching before deciding to register with GSniper. i know nothing about the technicalities. i have never heard of clickbank and it’s products. i was really like pushing through it. now, with your precise and detailed review, my questions are answered. thanks jack!

    1. You are welcome Mike! Glad I fulfilled the purpose of this site which is to give a thorough review on online business products.

      Jack (BareNakedScam)

  10. I believe that is one of the so much vital info for me. And i
am satisfied studying your article. But want to statement on few normal things, The site taste is perfect, the articles is
in reality excellent : D. Good task, cheers

  11. Pedro Duarte says:

Hello Jack! And thanks for the review! 😉

Just let me ask you something. Do you need to have your own website/blog to use the program?

    Thanks. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Hi Pedro!

If you are only talking about the Google Sniper Course, YES. They teach you how to be an affiliate marketer by building a website. But if you are asking whether you need to have a website to be an affiliate marketer, then NO, you do not need one to be an affiliate marketer.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more clarity.

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

      1. Pedro Duarte says:

Hi Jack! And thaks a lot for the reply… But i still have one doubt. Can you use the program to make money without building your own website?

        1. Hi Pedro,

Basically, Google Sniper teaches you how to create an online business with a website. I personally think that if you want to build a SUSTAINABLE online business, you need a website.

So to answer your question, Google Sniper do not teach you how to make money without using a website. However, some techniques are usable even without website – that is if you know how to apply.

Are you planning to build an online business without a website?

          ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  12. That looks like a very fair and balanced review. I really feel that no member of WA needs to even consider such a product, but that is only my opinion.
    Life just gets better!

    1. Yup! Totally agree. Wealthy Affiliate Members do not need to consider joining Google Sniper because WA course covers everything and more, and have no further upsells.

      Thanks your comment John!

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  13. Hi Jack,

The info provided here will save folks from being scammed. I found this review to be detailed yet concise.

    1. Hi Ade! Thanks for dropping by!

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  14. I would recommend anyone who is considering any program to get their trial first, if it is offered, to see if the program will provide enough information for the price. I do feel Google Sniper 2 does offer some valuable information however Wealthy Affiliate offers much more for less money, Thanks for this review, it should answer anyone’s questions who are considering it.

    1. Hi Virgie, comparing Google Sniper with Wealthy Affiliate, Wealthy Affiliate definitely holds an unfair advantage because it have 10 times or more information than Google Sniper. However, if people are really keen in Google Sniper at least they know what they are expecting to get through this review.

Thanks for your comment Virgie. Really appreciate it!

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  15. Steen Rasmussen says:

    Thank you Jack
It sounds very messy and complicated to get started with, I’ve tried to navigate the Google planner and you clearly have the right to get tired very quickly how to use it.
The $ 20 I spend on Jaaxy is definitely much better spent.
It is so simple to use that you almost do not need to watch the videos before you begin

    1. Thanks for dropping by Steen! Yup I agree Jaxxy is an awesome Keyword tool and I have no doubts about that. Anyone who dislike Google Keyword Tool should really try Jaxxy out.

      Thanks Steen!

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  16. Great review Jack , very thorough! I was on the brink of buying Google Sniper 2.0 a few months ago and after your review I am glad I didn’t. Although with trial access at only $1 I could still take a look. Luckily I found Wealthy Affiliate and after that I didn’t look any further. At Wealthy Affiliate there is absolutely everything you need in one place.

    1. Yup! Wealthy Affiliate is definitely the best place anyone can learn about building a business online. Thanks for your comment Peter!

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  17. Hey, Jack

What a detailed review on the Google Sniper and you’ve really gone in to great depth here. Since you’ve given Google Sniper a thumbs down and judging from your bad login experience with the program, I think I will steer clear. Some people may find it a great training program but “each to their own” as they say.

Wealthy Affiliate gets my vote along with 5 thumbs up due to the impressive expert training, effective tools and a community of AWESOME people 🙂

Thanks for taking your time to share this post…

    1. Hi Neil!

Thanks for dropping by! Google Sniper is worthwhile if you wanna learn how to do backlinkings. Other than that, there are also some contents which are useful, however, not for beginners.

On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate is definitely the best place for all the resources. No where on the internet I can find a program that is suitable for everyone. It is well worthy of my 5 Thumbs up.

      Thanks for your comment Neil!

      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)
